SPOILERS: David Fincher directs this incredibly detailed and startling thriller. Affleck has never been better, and Rosamund Pike is extremely convincing as one of cinema's most methodical sociopaths. A study of both the lies we tell people to present our best self-projections, and of our inability to truly know each other. A staggering achievement.

Ben Affleck really does a great job and at times you start questioning his character. Rosamund Pike does an amazing job, she is intriguing, get into character so well, you don't see her but the chacater 100% . Gone Girl is the type of movie, that even if you knew what was coming, manages to keep you on the edge of your seat, and play with your head.

This film was great. Clear and simple. The performances were excellent, and David Fincher's iconic way of directing is grea. But my main concern is how other people told me how "incredible" this film was, so it got my expectations up, and I think I was just a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the movie is great, but not to the point of greatness, and definitely not David Fincher's best film. Even so, this is a great time.

This movie starts off slow but boy does the film pick up speed. You will never guess what happens and how the ending towards out. This is by far one of the best movies I have seen. There are so many twists and turns in this film that casual viewers will be begin to wonder did Nick Dunne kill his wife? I don't want to spoil anything for viewers. However, all I will say is purchase the movie asap. You will be blown away.

I'd heard a lot of hype about this movie and an excellent performance by Ben Affleck. So I thought, seeing the price below ten dollars, it was a no-brainer and I bought it. It's now one of my favorite films in this genre. The ending really did surprise me but it also made sense. I recommend it highly. Nice packaging too.

This movie, unlike many book to film adaptations, did not disappoint. For those who have read the book -- it follows almost exactly. For those who haven't read the book -- this movie will keep you guessing. It's dark, twisted, infuriating, and so much more. This is not a thriller, or action flick, nor is it horror -- it's suspense at its best.

If you are a fan of either David Fincher or the book then I believe you will not be disappointed. Anyone who could get Ben Affleck to act like this should have de severs an Oscar nod for Best Director. Rosemund Pike's performance is bar none some of the best I've seen in a long time. I can't give it away why so you'll just have to see it.

I was very surprised by this movie , I know it could not follow completely . I like the choice of actors Ben Affleck was dead on believable . But Rosamund Pike was a great choice . The reason I bought the movie was her chilling performance . I can not wait to watch again with the extras . So many movies give the plot away so early .

In today's movie age of re-hashing the same ole movie you saw 20 years ago, but updated with better graphics...this is the way movies should be. Very well thought out plot! Incredible story, acting, even the music is fantastic! A not-to-be-missed-thriller!!!

This film was great in theaters and just a great on Blu Ray. David Fincher is an amazing director, Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike are brilliant, and the story based on the novel by Gillian Flynn is superb. It's a thrill ride full of mystery and many interesting twists and turns... Keeps the viewer on the edge of their seat. Must watch!

This movie is great! Had me guessing from the very start to the last 10 minutes. Didn't know how it was going to end. Rosamund Pike is such a brilliant actress and she played this role perfectly. Recommend this movie to everyone. Also enjoyed the cute little "Amazing Amy" booklet that was included with the Blu-Ray. Great movie set!

There can't be much said without ruining the content of the movie, but I have put it right on par with Hitchcock's rear window for that moment where the director catches you thinking you have everything figured out and you really don't at all. Extremely powerful message in our media obsessed culture and what is really the truth...

Gone Girl! I absolutely LOVED this film. The build, the story development, the character development, i loved everything the film offered. Definitely a film worth watching and adding to your entertainment collection. Affleck is as great as can be, Pike is EXCELLENT, they worked so well together! Great film!

Have you been looking for that "what's going to happen next" scene? In most cases we could probably write the plot and story line of most movies because so many are predictable and do not have the surprise suspense we are looking for. "Gone Girl" is not that movie. Make sure you are comfortable and will not be disturbed once you decide to watch this movie. It will truly hold your attention. No children allowed.

This movie blew my mind. I was told over and over to watch it and finally sat down and watched it with my girlfriend. Our eyes were glued to the screen! Haven't been that absorbed in a movie in a long time. Definitely a heart-pounding, adrenaline pumping, crazy movie! Definitely suggest that you check this movie out!

I usually don't buy movies but after hearing all the great reviews about this one I decided it would be worth the money. It most definitely was. After watching Gone Girl I'm extremely excited to actually own it so I can watch the movie again and again. Excellent acting and full of convincing twists and turns. A must see.

Another expertly solid film from director David Fincher. A faithful-enough adaptation of the popular book that most importantly captures the darkly comic essence of the novel. Rosamund Pike gives an outstanding performance. Ben Affleck, Carrie Coon and Kim Dickens round out the central cast with equally nuanced work.

When I first went to see Gone Girl at a movie theatre I was not expecting to like this picture. To me the beginning was somewhat tedious but then this mystery movie got rolling. With the numerous plot twists it was difficult to know what the next twist would be. Rosamund Pike was excellent as Amy Dunne. Very good movie except that the ending was abrupt and left the viewer wondering what would be Amy's next move.

I loved the book and I love the movie. It also came with an Amazing Amy book, which was a happy surprise since I didn't read that part in the specifications. Product was in good condition, Blu-ray picture was great. My only issue was that it was a preorder and I didn't receive it until 4 days after in-store release.
