Absolutely love this movie. It was a really mind twist

I love this movie, it's even better than I remembered!

Amazing storyline that keeps your interest throughout

Love this movie. and I got it for such a good price.

Unfortunately, we now know this film was snubbed from a well-deserved nomination at an Oscar for "Best Picture". Both Rosamund Pike and Ben Affleck give spectacular performances, and even Tyler Perry under someone else's direction is finally cast out of his productions' shadow, and he surprises in his role in this film as an attorney to high profile cases - which he fit perfectly. Carrie Coon and Neil Patrick Harris also standout with their performances in this film, making every second of this film a joy to watch as the story untangles. 2014 was full of great films, many will win at the Academy Awards, sadly this one was left out of the "Best Picture" nomination, that doesn't mean that anyone reading this should skip out on viewing it. It is merely a testament to the number of great films in 2014. Everyone should view this film at least once. This is one many will regret skipping out on.

I really enjoyed the film. It had an interesting premise as well as unexpected plot twists

I had to give it four stars for the movie. It could have been five if not for the ending. I kind of get what the writer was going for. They didn't want that cookie cutter ending where everything is resolved. But this movie kind of needed it. The last 15 minutes, I kept saying, "I hope it's not a lame ending." I was disappointed. In real life I think it's safe to say this woman would never get away with this stuff. At the end they say the FBI will look at it. Well I don't think they did. The main cop pretty much caught her out in the hospital but then it's ignored. It's obvious that Ben Affleck's character didn't buy all that stuff. There are cameras all over NPH's house that show her walking around the house freely beforehand. The police station would have had caller ID showing the call that came in to complain about the woodshed would have came from far away. I hated how much of a wuss Ben Affleck was at the end. I would never be able to sleep again at night. And lastly, it's obvious that this woman is insane since she has cried wolf a lot in her life and her once solid evidence against her husband, doesn't add up anymore after she turns up alive.

Good movie, got it in the $5 bin on blue ray with the digital code. Worked out great.

David Fincher shows off his unique cinematic style in this multi-layered, smart film adaptation of the novel written by Gillian Flynn who also wrote the screen play. The foreboding soundtrack gives this film it's perfect mood. The cast bring the characters to life with such ease. This mystery unfolds as the story is told through both the husband's eyes, the wife's eyes and the media's eyes. The story is a great mystery, thriller, drama and social commentary on our media driven society. Blu-ray 2.40:1 aspect ratio with very good picture and sound quality. The packaging is very nice with an Amazing Amy book included. The packing is made of cardboard so handle with care.

A good film with Rosamund Pike at her best. A surprise ending makes it a winner.

Gone Girl is a great film adaptation of the book and it is wonderfully directed by David Fincher. His style fits perfectly with the story and even enhances it in many ways. The music by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross also adds to the atmosphere effectively. Most importantly, this is a very well-written script which results in a thriller/mystery that never drags once and keeps you engaged the entire time. The film is great and the technical merits of the blu ray transfer like picture and audio are good as well. Recommended for fans of the film and/or the book.

Pike does an amazing job with her character. The story is great as well.

Great story. I normal do not watch movies like this but it was rwally good.
