I love this movie. Robin Williams is the best and his performance is awesome.

This is a great story! Each year, a college professor posts an impossible math equation on the board outside his classroom. No one has ever solved the problem, not even the professor. One day, the professor arrives in the morning and the answer has been posted on the board. The professor is amazed, but none of his students will stand up and take credit for finding the answer. After posting a new problem on the board, the professor comes in late one night to do some work and discovers, to his astonishment, that the night custodian is the one who's been solving his intricate equations. Matt Damon stars as the secret genious who needs help getting his life together. Robin Williams is the therapist who is hired to help. Mini Driver plays the girlfriend and Ben Affleck is Matt's best friend. This movie launched the careers of Matt Damon and Ben Affleck who co-wrote and co-starred in it, winning countless awards. My only mark against the film is that the adult language is a little thick in some scenes, but it is a very good story. Enjoy!

This was a very Good movie.... Right, Will Hunting??

I had seen the movie before, but I wanted to have a copy to view whenever I wanted. The movie shows Robin Williams in a dramatic role, which shows the breadth of his acting ability. This and Dead Poet's Society take him well away from comedy, particularly the manic kind for which he was well-known. The other reason for buying the movie is now that he is gone, the movie has special significance, as he played a psychological counselor who helped a special person get past a serious barrier in his life. It is sad that no counselor was able to reach Mr. Williams when he hit an even more serious barrier. About the physical DVD itself--it ran correctly, and was very clear on my TV. No surprises here.

Robin Williams plays a therapist and Matt Damon, a janitor with a genius IQ. The story is interesting and the movie was really good.

Matt Damon and Robin Williams are each awesome, together they make each other shine. I had no idea 'the plot' of the movie when I purchased it, bought it based on the actors. I'll buy any movie with either actor performing in it. Robin can cover any personality, Matt is so down to earth with an intensiveness to make his portrayal of character believable. Matt plays an extremely intellectual in mathematics doing menial work (either autistic or asperger tendencies) having conflicts with the law. He is introduced to Robin portraying a psychology professor that has the insight to guide Matt to get on the right track. Made you feel like you knew them as 'real people' dealing with 'life's issues'.

A great movie from a few years ago at a great price. A real hard to find movie

When I first heard the title of this movie, I thought it was about hunting -- until I realized Matt Damon's character is Will Hunting, and he is a bad boy... haha... So instead of an action like I originally thought, this film is a drama/romance about a bad Will Hunting in Boston life. The movie is doubly good with Robin Williams in it trying to make a good Will Hunting and their story together is beautiful!

I love Good Will Hunting....I saw it in the movies, I own it on DVD, so naturally I had to have it on Blue Ray....I love Robin Williams, Matt Damon, and the rest of this great cast...What a plot, what a script, and what acting....This movie is a great story about someone making themselves better....I could watch this movie 100 times....I think I have....I would walk, no run to Best Buy to buy Good Will Hunting in Blue Ray....You won't be disappointed.....I wasn't....

One of the best movies I’ve ever seen, not to mention Robin Williams’ best performances! Matt Damon and Ben Affleck put together such a great script, and Van Sant makes such a compelling, emotional character study from it all! It’s also got so many wonderful quotes. The Blu-Ray is in terrific shape, plays well.

Good will hunting classic movie and a must own for collectors

This movie was suggested to me. I had no expectations about it. I had heard that it was written by Damon & Affleck. To my surprise I rather enjoyed it. Surprised to see Minnie Driver as the bright college student. We all know someone that represents a person in this cast. There are scenes that makes you want to yell at the tv. I enjoyed Robin Williams (RIP) in his role as the psychologist. If u haven't seen it, u should watch it. There really should have been a sequel to this.
