Replaced my original thermostat with this one. Easy installation and very easy to use. Love that I can set tge temp from anywhere. Multiple schedules for any given day. Excellent all around

Refurbished, but very good quality. Nothing missing in the kit. No scratches or any damages. Easy to installl and operate.

I purchased a refurb unit and it came with all of the things you need. Screws, the mounting plate (NOT the wall plate/cover) and the thermostat itself. My unit and plate had no scratches or any other signs of wear, though your mileage may vary based on some other reviews. I'd suggest sending it back in for a replacement if your unit is heavily scuffed. The thermostat itself was factory reset already and I just needed to wire it up to the HVAC wall connection and it was working in 15 minutes after going through the setup process in the Google Home app. It feels very premium and anyone who's used to the turn wheel design of previous and/or the premium Nest thermostats will still quickly get used to the touch-scroll zone on the right side of the unit. Some of the photos don't really do it justice, but it's worth pointing out that the front of the thermostat is a nice little flat mirror that makes it blend in even more in a hallway setting until you walk by and the screen kicks on to show temp stats. Living in Vegas, the AC unit typically runs often, but the smart adjustments that this one can make help offset the cost of the thermostat itself and can pretty quickly pay it off in electricity savings alone over a summer or two (or even less if you have a large home). I installed it with the not-included wall plate to help cover up the paint-less rectangle that would have been showing otherwise.

I went from the nest thermostat to this and it is pretty basic. It is way better than an old thermostat. I would say it’s just as good as an electronic regular thermostat, but it does lack functions to be called a smart thermostat. Pretty basic, but it is very pretty.

This was a simple setup and easy to use. Highly recommend.

I've been using this for over 2 months now and all good so far. I found some trouble when setting this up but it had more to do with my inexperience with HVACs than with the product itself. Google provides several videos and tutorials but also the option of hiring a Pro to do the job. You must check compatibility with your system before buying. It's now synced with all my other Google Home products so I can control it from everywhere. It's perfect.

We love this thermostat it’s life changing for us! It shows inside and outside temp humidity and is absolutely amazing

I am really glad that we got this product. It is at an affordable price, and it is easy to install, set up and use. I am glad that Google made this product as it makes it better for us to manage the house temperature either through the Google Assistant or the Google Home app.

We used to have an old Honeywell thermostat that worked fine, but didn’t have the smart or energy saving features we were looking for. This google thermostat has been awesome and just what we needed

I’ve used Nest for our last 3 homes. The ease of use and connectivity makes life easier. I usually remove any default programmed settings and just build my own schedule to for the needs of our home.

We upgraded our traditional  thermostat to a nest thermostat, I liked it. It was easy to install it, but alexa support is lack feature only the alexa app works.

It’s fairly cheap it works with my google home. I’m able to change the temperature on my bed, this stuff is great.

I like all the features and functions it can do. I’m new to this gadget I’m still learning.

Mine works amazing… I fell in love! I can set up my AC from my bed. Lazy boyyyy

You'd never know its refurbished. Just watched a YouTube for install instructions.

The item claims to be “refurbished”, but looking at the packaging, it looks more a pre-owned item that was returned and is now repackaged and sold. Batteries- The batteries were expired, and I had to replace them with new ones before I could use. Screws - the screws are of average quality and one of them broke and is now stuck in the nest plate’s wall plate, so my thermostat is now on the wall on just one scren

Didn’t get my AA batteries and can’t install now who do I contact now ? Please contact me back and send out the batteries to my address in my order

Fantastic budget smart thermostat. I've been using this for over 2 years now without any sort of issue. I installed it myself using the step by step guide in the app. Installation and connection to my Internet was seamless because of the visual step by step instructions. I love that I can set a custom hi/lo temp to automatically run the heat and AC when the house reaches certain temperatures. It's a great function for the late fall and early spring in the Midwest where nights can get below freezing and days can get into the upper 80s. I would definitely buy this thermostat again.
