The Google Nest Audio is a fantastic upgrade from the Nest Mini. The sound quality is rich and clear—perfect for enjoying music—and it's incredibly responsive for voice commands, making home automation effortless. I bought it to replace two Nest Minis, and I’m beyond satisfied. Totally worth it

Great sound quality in comparison with Nest Mini for a reasonable additional cost; also looks nice and is generally convenient to use. YouTube Premium is a useful supplement for streaming.
I had mixed feelings at first about having a front-firing driver (speaker) instead of top-firing in the Mini, but it has worked out fine where I ended up positioning it in the room.
There are a few quirks in Google Home including coordination of multiple Nest audio devices, but they are tolerable, and I think eventually the system will be fully streamlined.

google delivers amazing sound with massive bass and pretty loud volumes. it connects with all your subscription music services, and can do anything your smart assistant can. it does not have any issues with your phone assistant because it takes over and does as you command. works flawlessly with the google nest smart home thermostat, and all my other smart home devices. I liked it so much i went back for a second one for another room. Much more responsive and accurate than amazon alexa devices.

It was a very useful and life altering device! I use it for a lot of my life routines and day to day uses. It has great connectivity options with other smart home tech and it even has absolute ground breaking audio for in home use for median to larger sized room. I don’t know if I could do with out it tbh and would love to get another.

I bought this on sale to replace a Google Home Mini in my kitchen. I was expecting improved sound over the Mini, but was pleasantly surprised by the clean bass and generally well rounded audio.

I got the grey Google Nest speaker, and honestly, it's pretty sweet. I like how it looks. The cloth covering is soft, which is a nice touch. When I play music, it actually sounds good—not all tinny like some smart speakers. And the best part? I can just talk to it! I ask it questions, and it answers. I can even tell it to turn off my lights, which is super handy. It was easy to set up, and it fits right in with my stuff. I'm happy with it.

Works and sounds great. Use it almost everyday. Only reason for less than 5 stars is that it's not super easy to connect. The other issue, mostly my own for not researching better, is that I can't just connect via Bluetooth. Brought it camping thinking we could chill with some good music and could only chill... No music.

I have Google as my start home system and I have a Nest Hub Max, and a Nest Mini speaker as the main voice control devices. I saw this speaker on sale for 50% off, so I bought two of them. Now I can cast music too all my google speakers as a surround sound system in my dining room. The speaker is more responsive to voice command comparing to the Hub. They are good speakers for average need. If you want a full blown immersive sound system with a log o adjustments, these are not the ones. But for average everyday use, smart home control, these are excellent.

I waited 2 years to buy these. Kept thinking they’d come out with a new model or someone would post a pretty annoying issue. Which btw, when you disable the mic on the speakers there is an annoying ORANGE LIGHT that is always visible. So if you wanted to just Bluetooth audio and not worry of the always listening google overlords, you can’t without a bright Orange light.
Anyways, the sound is great, but the sound is awesome with 2. Typically the case with a lot of speakers, they sound better in pairs. These go on sale twice a year. Wait for the sale and buy 2

Picked up a Google Nest from Best Buy and couldn’t be happier. The staff helped me choose the right one for my home, and setup was simple and fast. It works great with my other smart devices and makes everyday stuff like adjusting the thermostat or checking the weather super convenient. Best Buy made the whole experience smooth from start to finish.

This speaker is well balanced. It easily fills a regular sized room with full-bodied music. The speaker design is also very nice. No issues connecting to WiFi and the Google Home app.

The speakers by themselves are an outstanding product. I was mostly surprised by the sheer weight. They feel very high quality, they look excellent and the sound quality is great. They outperform in all of the advertised areas and integrate very well in my Google smart home. My only complaint is that I purchased two of these to use as a speaker pair for an older common area tv that I use the latest Chromecast with Google TV on. I read an article somewhere that Google was working on a direct integration between these speakers and the Chromecast that would allow them to be used as the default audio device and eliminate audio delay. Unfortunately, this hasn't happened yet and it seems the articles were based on unreleased promotional material. As it stands now, I can Bluetooth pair the speakers to the Chromecast but the audio delay with video makes them unusable for this purpose. My fault for expecting unreleased features from Google but this would really be a nice feature to have and I'm not alone in this request.

This is a excellent speaker. I love the sound and quality of this speaker. The speaker is easy to setup and use. You can not go wrong in purchasing this speaker.

This speaker is one of my favorite possessions. I use it for everything. I ask tens of questions a day, I have background music going at almost all times, and I use it to control my smart devices. It's a wonderful smart speaker. Easy to set up, and works well. It can understand me well, and does a good job answering my questions. I prefer this to the amazon echo.

Love the Google Nest smart speaker. I have listened to hours of music on the speaker. Very full and clear sound. This is actually the third Nest speaker I have purchased and will not hesitate to get this speaker if I need another.

Sound quality is noticably better than old Google Home or obviously the Nest Mini speakers or Nest Hub Mini. Really wish they would bring back the big Google Home Max speaker for actually impressive sound, as this still can't begin to compete with the likes of Sonos/Bose/etc. The Google Assistant however has stagnated and doesn't feel like it's improved at all over the last 5 years or so, which is disappointing when buying a new product. But it's a solid product overall and if you're into the Google Home ecosystem it's a no-brainer recommendation.
