These cameras work great. The night vision is good. The battery lasts for a long time. I purchased a couple solar panels separately to keep the cameras charged.

I have always used Nest, the quality is excellent, it has very good quality in terms of being able to see near and far, it has good reflection. I recommend it.

I bought this as an addition to the ones I already have installed. I’m impressed with the clarity and the distance it captures. I’ve been able to look at recordings and can see license plates and can see details of strangers passing along the perimeter of my home. For the price, totally worth it. I’ve bought and used ADT cameras that can’t compare to the quality I get from the Google cameras. I totally recommend it.

Nest cam battery has clear video and 2-way audio. We had to get help to connect to our Nest Hub Max, but the phone techs were great and got us through the job.

Great addition to my home security setup. Yes you have to use the Google Home app. I honestly don’t see why this is such a big deal to some people. The cameras catch and record more with better sensitivity if you have them connected to a power source, but for the areas where this isn’t possible they are suitable. I have one on my front porch wired, adding another to the side for battery and I just ordered the floodlight for the back yard. Very happy.
Hi there, Yogi. Thanks for sharing your feedback on Nest Cam (battery), and we hear your concerns about its battery life. Since your camera is detecting a lot of activities, you can extend the battery life by adjusting video quality, length of video clips, time between recorded events, and using activity zones to monitor specific areas. Also, you can plug your camera to a power outlet with the included power adapter for continuous power. However, the included power adapter is not weatherproof and not intended for outdoor use. We suggest using a compatible weatherproof cable (sold separately). Contact your retailer for inquiries.

Ok camera for live but quality is sub part and battery only lasts a few days. Doesn't record movement or notify. Someone hit our trash cans and the camera didn't record anything. Only good for live viewing.
Hey there, Miko. We hear your concerns regarding battery life and notifications on the Nest Cam (Battery). Here are some solutions to make sure your device is running smoothly:
On average here’s how long the battery will last on a single charge: Busy - About 1 month battery life (about 25 - 30 recorded events per day) Typical - About 2.5 months battery life (about 13 - 16 recorded events per day) Quiet - About 6 months battery life (about 2 - 5 recorded events per day)
Here are a few tips to conserve battery: 1. Optimize its video quality. 2. Shorten the length of time for which events are recorded. 3. Take longer to begin recording between events.
Great camera, high quality, love the lack of wires

While Google's issues with app compatibility are annoying, I still like this little camera. In the dead of winter, the battery lasted 4 months on a moderately busy street, an outcome which I was very happy with. Looking forward for the Google Home app update that makes it easier to scroll etc but so far no complaints. Worth it for the sale price I paid

Works as it should I have the power cord attached all the time so I have constant recording , cause if you don’t plug in the power cable you only get clips when something happens, time will tell how the camera holds up outside picture quality is ok, could be better , wish it would track movement and zoom in by its self
