great upgrade to the old ones, Loving the second sensor as it really helps cater to specific areas of the house at the right times. The super skinny face is a little bit strange looking from the side with the big base behind it. But looking directly at the unit, it is gorgeous.

My partner and I move a lot and we've experienced a lot of different thermostats. I have to say that this is the best, easiest, and most fun experience we've had with a thermostat! Using the Google Home app is a cinch and you can easily switch the thermostat to different sensors in your home so you can get the best temperature where you want it! We'd definitely recommend to all our friends and family!

Excellent thermostat a huge upgrade from generation 3 the screen is bigger and more vibrant very high tech love the home screens now you can pick to have the weather displayed and now its animated shows rain or thunder and sun as your current weather progresses in real time i also loved that bestbuy delivered it on launch day very awesome in their part thank you get this gen 4 thermostat you wont be disappointed

This Nest replaces our 3rd generation Nest which stopped working for reasons unknown. The new Nest has been working fine but truthfully there are features of the 3rd gen that I prefer. I liked the appearance of the dial and how it turns to set temps or programs. These are minor and I will get used to them but I was happy with the previous one until it stopped functioning.

Google Nest Thermostat (4th gen) is powerful in cooling the temperature throughout our 4-bedroom home. The Temperature Sensor (2nd gen) is also a good addition: the rooms will have similar temperatures to the room the sensor is in. The thermostat is easy to use and can be controlled from afar by wifi. Great investment!

Honestly, this thing is awesome. The setup was stupid easy — the app basically does all the work for you. The polished black look is super clean and gives my wall that modern vibe. The temp sensor that comes with it is a game-changer. I dropped it in my bedroom and now it actually stays the perfect temp at night. It learns my routine, saves energy, and I can tweak everything from my phone or just tell Google to handle it. If you’re on the fence — just get it. Worth every penny.

I didn't realize that this version of the learning Thermostat(4th gen) would be that much different than the 3rd gen. It looks much improved and I like that it shows both the internal temp and what you set it to. The screen comes on automatically when you walk towards it. The most important reason I got this is that my HVac system is multifunctional and this thermostat can effectively make things more efficient. I know that my big house is now heating up properly. I use the Sensors to get areas of my house that normally would go unnoticed. To get this working properly, I needed to Google Nest Power Connector since my unit did not have a dedicated C wire. That Connector seemed to make things work much better as I understood that power wouldn't work correctly without it.

I live in an older home and there is always a huge temperature difference between my first and second floor. With this smart thermostat, I’m able to automatically adjust temperatures based on the times that I will be in either floor. This has relieved major annoyances I used to deal with on a daily basis. 100% recommend!

The Nest Learning Thermostat is one of the best upgrades I’ve made at home. Setup was easy, and it quickly learned my schedule to keep the house comfortable while saving energy. The included Nest Temperature Sensor is a great bonus—it helps balance out rooms so the whole place feels just right. The polished silver finish looks premium and blends nicely with my décor. Controlling it from my phone or with Google Assistant is super convenient, and the energy reports are a nice touch. Ive had nest thermostats before, and have been quite pleased with the ease of scheduling temp changes, and enrolling in automated programs through the thermostat with the power company to take advantage of Rush Hour savings and rewards. A personal preference: i hate the new look. Its sort of mushroom shaped, and the wall plate is round, so when replacing other brands, you have to repaint the wall, because the corners are exposed. The temperature sensor is fantastic. We discovered our childs room is a cold spot, and put the sensor in there. Since then, it has done a great job of averaging out the temperature across the whole floor to ensure acceptable heating levels.

Let's be honest, it's a thermostat! A very high quality one so I give it high marks for that. It's not the cheapest or easiest to use(to turn off the system at the device you have to navigate into the settings and find off), so it doesn't get a perfect score. The convenience of the app immediately allows you to be more comfortable and the extra sensor adds to that. You can use it as the primary and let the temperature follow you around the house! Lastly it won't magically make your old furnace more efficient. It will give you more control which should save you some money without trying.

Bought this open box excellent and I must say im very happy with my purchase. Shipping was quick and when it arrived it had all the parts and installed very easily. Would highly recommend.

Easy to install. Wifi works great, and it looks very sylish.

EZ install - Uses google home app instead of nest app. Temperature sensor helped me adjust temp variances in the house to be more accurate. Install was easy and enjoy having the house swap to ECO while I'm at work.

I purchased this new thermostat to replace one that broke. I thought I would save a few bucks and purchased open box. I got home and found that the device was missing the sensor. On return staff told me that because It was marked excellent condition they may not be able to refund me because I could have taken the sensor. I eventually got a refund and my replacement. The thermostat is great I love it and it's better at regulating an even temperature in the house but I would suggest avoid open box or open it at the counter to verify all devices are in box
