I got my pixel to yesterday and after using it for a while and about half charge I weren't down to 1%. This morning I went to charge it and in one hours time it went from 2% to 64% which is a little more than where it was yesterday when I started and I can tell you there is no way it will have anywhere near half of the claimed use time of 7.5 hours after 15th minutes of charging. I bought this phone be auseof it's supposed battery....we will see.

Google was very helpful diagnosing the problem. BestBuy was not. Google had me inquire about exchanging the phone through BestBuy before initiating a replacement directly with Google. I called BestBuy and was connected to GeekSquad. They told me there would be a service charge for the exchange. Ridiculous. Asked to speak to a supervisor. The put me on hold and then disconnected me after 20 minute wait. Am currently waiting for replacement phone from Google. Read the fine print when buying from "Best"Buy (not).

I have never had a phone (iPhone or Android) before where there wasn't some annoyance or trade-off involved. My pixel 2 simply does everything I want it to do very well.

Google had issues with the camera being hackable and released a security update to rectify this issue. The camera used to be amazing, and now it wont open, and when it does it it wont focus. If you do a websearch you will find hundrends of posts about. Take a risk if youd like, but i would no longer recommend this phone since the main selling point is the camera
