I'll never go back to Apple
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pretty happy with my switch from my old iphone 12 pro. The display is an immediate improvement, and the software for images are a night and day difference. I really love the android user experience; it's insane how smart the phone is, from automatically asking if I want to turn my alarm of for a national holiday, to automatically providing me with snoring insights without needing to buy into crazy apps. Now that there are more premium alternatives to the apple watch as well, I can't imagine going back to apple. The new personalization for my phone is also unmatched. I love the options for the UI. I'd also like to say I can still use the premium features for my apple airpod pros with a simple app installation that tells me the battery life and everything else. Between this and the pro, the price made it easy. The internals aren't different much. The screen is 90hz which is easily as good as 120hz, and I don't miss the extra camera the pro has. I also prefer the flat display versus the curved edge. The battery isn't amazing, but it is better than my iphone 12. But the smart super battery saver does more than apple's, and you can select essential apps. Paired this with a pixel watch as well as some Peak Design accessories and I couldn't be happier. Look for discounts as the pixel 8 approaches!

Googgle Pixel 7
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I updated to the Google Pixel 7 from the Google Pixel 4a so everything was familiar but definitely an upgrade. Got the unlocked version at Best Buy so it was quick and easy; in and out in about 5 minutes. The Pixel 7 is the first phone I had with a fingerprint sensor under the display and most of the time it's fast and reliable but sometimes it's slow and not reliable. Seems to be inconsistent, Could be just me but I miss the fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone like on my Pixel 4a. The camera on the Pixel 7 is very good and it has some great built in photo editing features. The battery life has also been very good; but I don't play a lot of games on it so I don't know how it would do under those circumstances. So for me, battery lasts at least a day before I charge it and charges quickly. I've only had for one month but so far, I would recommend Pixel 7.

A new improved Pixel 6
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I moved from a Pixel 3aXL to a Pixel 6. While the 3a was functional, the 6 was glitchy at times. Calls would not go through, hand off from Wifi to Cell tower was iffy. Notifications appeared later. As a phone, to make calls and send or receive texts, it was not reliable. Connections to Bluetooth devices was not consistent. I had purchased one Pixel 6 from Google and another one from Best Buy. Both had similar problems. It appeared to be "software" problems. The cell phone company and google support groups were of little use. So far, with the Pixel 7, it appears to be pretty similar to Pixel 6, but actually works consistently. So far calls are clear, texts arrive on time, Speakers sound good, videos are watchable (90Hz) refresh rate. Bluetooth connectively has been reliable. I use a Beeline Moto for navigation, the phone does not get warm. Will know more about battery life after using it for a while. The menu interactivity has sub-second responses. I have also used both sluggish Moto G phones and smooth Razer phones in the past. I use this phone to make calls, send some texts, take a couple of pictures. Read all the tech web sites for detailed reviews.

The Google Pixel 7: A Flagship Marvel
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Google Pixel 7 is a game-changing flagship smartphone that excels in every aspect. With its sleek design, stunning display, powerful performance, and industry-leading camera system, it offers an outstanding user experience. Coupled with Google's commitment to software updates, the Pixel 7 is a must-have for photography enthusiasts and Android purists. I purchased 3 mobiles at the same time for my friends.

Pixel 7 Best bang for the buck!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great phone for the price, phone has a great display, runs very smooth, camera is incredible! Phone is running Googles Android OS which will get updated sooner than any other android phone. The only thing I have noticed is the phone gets a little warm when using the camera. I am very happy with this phone and recommend it to anyone looking for a great Android phone at a very reasonable price.

Great for the price
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like it. I like the screen isn't rounded. I like that it's not super huge and I can pretty much hold it in one hand (though even smaller would be better). I like that there's a SIM slot. The software is fairly minimal and snappy, but there's a lot of Google bloatware on it that I'll never use. The camera is nothing spectacular, even for a phone. It takes good photos when the lighting is decent. Other than that, it's a crap shoot. Magic Eraser is a joke and never works. Where is the auto-flash option for the camera? This is a bizarre omission of a basic camera setting, and this is my first phone to not have that feature. The hole punch camera also looks pretty silly, but I guess that's the cost of doing doing business these days. It gets hot when it charges, and it charges much slower than the OnePlus phones I'm used to. I miss OnePlus charging speeds. Additionally, the battery life on this phone is pretty poor. I could get two days from my previous phone, but this one struggles to get through one day even when I barely use it. I hate having the power button and volume buttons on the same side, and being on the same side, I hate having the power button above the volume rocker. Where's the setting to auto enter the PIN after entering the correct digits? My last I don't know how many phones have had this feature, but not the Pixel! All in all, I'm happy with it, especially for the Open-Box price I paid. It's a bit over-priced for such a small amount of storage at only 128 GB, but it's helping me downsize at least.

Google pixel 7
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phone is fast. Screen is excellent. Battery life is excellent. But there are some annoyances. Stock android lacks personalization compared to samsung one ui. You need a third party launcher to remove the google search bar on home screen. When using PIN you need to press enter after the 6th digit. The fingerprint scanner is a hit and miss if you install a tempered glass screen protector.

Great Value for the Money
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been a great phone. I had an ancient Pixel 3A, so it was nice to get something more modern. The camera is fantastic on this thing. It is a bit larger than my previous phone, but the screen is beautiful. I haven't had any lag or slowness, either, as the hardware on this is pretty solid. And for the money I feel like you're getting a great deal compared to more expensive options like the iPhone. The only knock I have on this is the battery life isn't what you'd expect compared to it's competitors.

Awesome after week 1!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded from the Samsung S20 FE. So far it has definitely been an upgrade. The screen and animations are so much smoother and Pixel is just more intuitive than Samsung if you use a lot of Google services (Chrome, Gmail, One Drive, etc). I love the new features of the Pixels such as call screening, live translation and voice recording. I do not miss the telephoto camera like I thought I would because Pixel's cameras are so much better and the 2x zoom on the main camera works just fine. Battery life on the Pixel 7 is pretty good. Definitely better than my s20 FE. I think I get about 5 hours screen on time each day and it lasts me throughout the entire day unlike my s20 FE where I had to recharge it every afternoon after work. And this is all without doing anything to hamper the performance of the pixel. 7. Including leaving the screen at 90 Hz and never using battery saving modes. Honestly I love this phone but it's only been a week. I will update my review if any issues come along. I haven't noticed any issues that persisted from the pixel 6 that people always talked about such as signal loss and the fingerprint reader works just fine. I would definitely recommend this phone at this point. And just a fun fact I did 90% of this review using Google voice dictation :)

The Pixel 7 is a fine phone if a little clumsy.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Google Pixel 7 is a definite upgrade from my Moto G4. It has more memory. Everything is faster. It takes great pictures. Voice quality is good. Connectivity is good. And, it connects to my car using Android Auto which my old phone was incapable to doing. I don't really play games or use a lot of other apps. However, there is one time where I really miss my old phone, when I'm trying to take spur of the moment photos. With the Moto G4, I could activate the camera with a couple twists of the wrist. The Pixel 7 requires passing the login screen and activating the camera app to take pictures. Often, that means a couple failed attempts to use my fingerprint followed by typing in my password. By that time, the moment is often gone. The problem is compounded by the fact that the screen times out quickly to save on battery meaning that it is almost always necessary to login again. And, the new phone popped up questions every time I tried to use a previously unused app. That meant that even if I was in a hurry, I had to make choices about whether to enable this or that function before I could even access the app. Sometimes the phone is too smart for its own good. Sometimes, there are just too many features being pushed on the new user.

Absolutely the best value
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For $599 there's nothing else that comes close. Everything is extremely smooth. The camera is fantastic. My battery life has been very solid and I've yet to have a day worrying about a dead battery. And most importantly, the modem is revamped, a MASSIVE improvement over the Pixel 6 series. Oh, and the build quality is excellent, too.

I liked my Pixel 5 better
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Pixel 7 is okay. If you're looking for a phone for better cam quality this is going to be your phone. Other than that, don't bother. Things I like: always takes amazing pics, magic eraser in photos, always gets google updates 1st, the size of the phone is smaller than a lot of other phones, battery share Dislike: phone does not keep a Wi-Fi signal well (have to keep restarting the phone multiple times daily), the battery life sucks (my Pixel 5 could go almost 3 days with no w/o charging this one only a few hours), phone is too slippery to hold & sitting on surfaces, hate the camera bar (the 5 was better), function of the volume keys is weird - you can't set the phone to vibrate from that menu you have to go into another menu, needs better phone clean options, the 7 is too difficult to turn off NFC, magic eraser on photos is cool but it leaves photos distorted.

Super reliable, refined, trustworthy. And Pretty!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall a really solid phone. I switched over to this Google phone after primarily using Samsung phones, most recently having a Galaxy Note9 which was so reliable and did everything I could ever want. A bit hesitant, but also curious after seeing so many positive reviews. This phone doesn't reinvent the wheel or have all the fancy bells and whistles as other phones, but it's a functional, polished and refined phone which does things efficiently. I certainly miss some features of my Samsung phone and the small ecosystem I had with it, but for ease of use, streamlined reliable powerhouse with beautiful pictures, it's been worth the switch. So far, it's been a little over the week and I'm still learning more and more about this phone and loving it more and more. If you're looking for something extremely reliable, not overly confusing or jampacked with features you may overlook, this phone is for you. I definitely miss phones from last generation where there were still headphone jacks and expandable memory, but still love this phone. Also, Best Buy had a crazy good deal on this and got it for a fraction of the price. Jump on it now.

Great phone. Can improve battery life.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very smooth phone with excellent camera quality and great storage. Easy to edit photos with the inbuilt features. However, the battery life isn't that great. It doesn't last the full day with continual usage, especially when I am shooting videos. Also overheats quickly with video shooting.

Solid device for a solid price
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Pixel device, and it feels good to be back. I've had Galaxy phones for my last couple devices, and while they are nice, it always feels like they are crammed with too many unnecessary apps and features that I'll never touch. With this Pixel, setup was easy as ever, all my Google accounts and info synced quick and painlessly. I love the camera on this phone a lot, and Google has great photo optimization, it fits my needs perfectly. but if you're looking for something a bit beefier, go for a Pixel Pro. You'll get a better optical zoom, larger screen, and higher refresh rate. But if you're like me and you're looking for an above average smartphone that doesnt destroy your wallet, this is a solid fit for anyone, especially if you already use many Google services
