Recommend it Highly after first few weeks of use

I love this phone compared to my older Samsung G6. It's a nice size relative to newer Samsungs and slides in the front pocket well even with a case on it. The battery is giving me lots of on time and in daily use it seems to have convenient controls. The fingerprint sensing generally sucks to my disappointment.

    Definitely lackluster in execution

Everybody likes a nice camera. This phone has a nice camera. That said, compared to my pixel 5A the phone in general is a very ambitious, yet extremely buggy mess. Even things that seemed to be fairly solved challenges like the Google assistant work less well on the 7A then two phone Generations ago. The biometric thumb scanner in the middle of the screen, is a terrible location, and only works on occasion. Almost every app I have regularly used in the past runs worse on the 7A. This may be due to the developers not being on the bleeding edge of Google's most recent apis, or some other failure, but nonetheless most apps run worse, lag, or outright crash. This is the first phone I've had in quite some time that needs to be restarted at least once a day if not more often. It is not bad enough that I would return it, but this phone has convinced me that in the future I will start buying $100 phones instead of $500 phones.

    Mlch better than I expected

I had another brand of phone from a similar price range that I had just bought earlier this year that had to be replaced. I was not expecting sich a jump in quality of experience -- all of a sudden my self hosted smart home automations that relied on information/status of my phone started working every single time! I havent had a pixel before so I am also loving all the new sounds/tones it comes with. Battery seems to be a little less robust than my other model -- but that might be because the apps I use for smart home automation are actually working? also I tweaked a setting or two for some apps and it seems to be better. That being said I cant make it through the end of the day using it as long as I am accustomed to with other phones so I do find miseof plugging it in more often. I like the stock android - Motorola used to be stock android too but it does have its own add on apps as well - just more around functionality. I like that updates to the OS wont take a year.

    Pixel 7a review

Really affordable option for a smartphone, also the camera is pretty great for it's price, the battery for some reason feels slightly underwhelming considering its a phone that came out this year... Maybe it's just android things as I have just migrated from Apple phones to Android with this.

Great features, camera, and wireless charging. Really like wireless charging as my last Google Pixel worked fine except for the charging port - now that won't be a problem. Phone arrived quickly and was well packaged for shipping.

Honestly a solid phone only problem is it's battery life which doesn't mean to last long but it does have an option for super battery saver which takes an hour to drop from 30% to 20% but I haven't used it much since I'm doing other things

Phone is alright . Has a lot of features I've yet to learn and the price was great. I'm only upset that the price lowered a few days after by 100 less. Overall it's a great phone that isn't too cheap or expensive.

For the price it is a really really good phone. But to be honest I was expecting better improve in the camera. Compared with the 4a (which it was my last phone) they have the same low definition recording low light indoors (like music venues). Recording live music videos is pretty neat, tho.

Great device at the sale price point, and feels like a natural upgrade from the Pixel 4a. The only major issues are no headphone jack and getting my sim set up was a huge hassle because of Verizon.

Nice to hold in hand for a 6.1 inch phone. Android experience feels snappy. Camera works well and so far its very responsive. Wish it was smaller for added comfort and security.

I've owned the Pixel 7A for a week now. So far so good. I bought it to replace my Samsung Galaxy 7. The operating system feels a bit clunkier and cheaper than my old Galaxy. Making bluetooth connections is trickier, requiring more clicks. I don't like being forced to use Google photos to store pictures. I also feel that I had more options for personalizing my homescreen, etc. with Samsung. Good phone so far, no major issues.

Battery life doesn’t last as long as my Pixel 5A and pictures from iPhones come through blurry, but overall a good phone.

Is one of the best camera. Google, by changing the sensor to a more modern one, improved the photographic section.
