Screen is definitely brighter, hardware feels a little faster. I traded in a Pixel 8 and although the trade-in is safer at Best Buy (I got a phone lost/stolen during shipping in a previous trade-in with Google), the process is inconsistent and frustrating. Same Best Buy store, I was allowed to use a a cable to move data over in a previous trade-in, this time I was not. In general, the Google/Android ecosystem is just less controlled and less reliable than Apple. The Find My Device settings disappeared when I moved over from Pixel 8 to Pixel 9. That was fixed after a 2-hour interaction with Google support. Location based Google Home personal routines stopped working because, somehow, they are tied to the Pixel 8 I trade-in. I'm unable to enter new location based personal routines either. Google support just doesn't know how to fix the issue.

I am really enjoying this phone. The camera is really great and I love the long battery life. I couldn't be more pleased.

It's a great phone . Having a stock android experience is easily the best part of this phone. Camera bump is the only thing about the phone I dislike

The phone gets heated up quickly and the finger scanning is not as fast as you get in Pro versions. Not a good phone for multitasking.

Solid update from the pixel 7. Camera is still best of the best for the money. Battery life is greatly improved over the pixel 7.

good phone needs some tweaking on the cooling side which gets fixed with the pro models but overall not a bad purchase with the deals there is always on this phone

I loved this phone and wish that my ex didnt steal it from me last month. I was looking forward to replacing my Galaxy FE23 S but instead i have a high bill for a stolen phone.

I loaded Graphine on it and it is now my favorite phone ever

Bought for my wife. Upgraded from a Pixel 5. Everything transferred wirelessly. Popped in old sim and everything worked perfectly. Couldn't be happier. Great price and wonderful trade in promotion!

Huge fan of the Pixel line (since the Pixel 3)! Love how Gemini is incorporated into the phone with the push for AI. The phone also seems to have a really good build quality too which is a huge improvement in my opinion. The trade-in was a no-brainer.

Experience has been good so far. Initially some bugs with phone vibration, but seems to have resolved to upgrade to Android 15.
