Order my dad a second pair. He usually is averse to new tech, but he fell in love with the second first pair . When he lost it, he asked for a new pair. Didn’t seem interested in the noise-cancelling tech of the pros or anything. He requested these.

Great sound and very good fit (those fins) and feel. The touch controls are great too, and they feel so comfortable. The teal colour is such a beauty. Ultimately I ended up returning them because of the "up to 2.5 hour talk time", which is just abysmal. You have to dig deep into Google's support webpage to find this detail. All they splash all over is the "listening" time, which at 5-6 hours is just about average and acceptable. The white charging case is nice and pebble-ish, but terrible at staying clean. Within 10 minutes of being in my trouser pockets, 'twas already stained.

Sound quality it good. The Bluetooth range is great. They literally fall out of my ears. Never had earbuds fit like this. They do not stay in. Can use them if I'm sitting stationary but not for going on a walk or jog.

Hi there, MThomp. We appreciate that you like the sound quality and Bluetooth range of the Pixel Buds A-Series. We’re sorry to hear of your issue with fit. We recommend trying out all 3 ear tip sizes to find the most comfortable tips for you, and ensure that you get the best comfort and seal. Your Pixel Buds are pre-attached with medium ear tips and come with small and large ear tips so that you can improve your fit. Ears are unique so your left ear may be different from your right ear. To swap ear tips, pull the attached ear tip off and press the other ear tip onto the earbud until you feel a light snap. Gently pull on the ear tip to ensure that it's properly attached.

I'd probably give it a 3 and 1/2 stars I got it for around $100 I might rate it a little higher if you could catch it for cheaper than that. When I first got them I thought they were really flat sounding and fairly uncomfortable to keep them in my ears. I changed up the ear tips that came with it and it made a huge difference they do get loud enough and they sound decent in my opinion, but if you want really good sounding earphones or really comfortable ones it might be worth holding off and saving for an alternative. I find by the time that the battery dies on them and gives me a break to take them out and the amount that I use them it's a good justifiable purchase but I do wish I had some dual driver in in ear headphones or at least something with more features like noise cancellation but then you're definitely spending more money. CONS FOR ME sound quality, comfort, battery life. PROS Good all around earbud especially if you don't have them in all the time but then you'd probably want wired ones anyway

Hi Chris, thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that Google Pixel Buds A-Series didn’t meet your expectations.

The A-Series don't have the Active Noise Cancellation feature but to counteract background noises, we created “Adaptive Sound,” a feature that automatically raises and lowers the volume with software smart in response to the noise level of the environment a user is in. Check out the following link for more information about Adaptive Sound here:
      https://support.google.com/googlepixelbuds/answer/9642077

We understand that everyone will have their own sound preference. That's why you can get more bass with Bass Boost if you really want that boost to your audio. This feature can be activated with a device running Android 6.0 or newer. To enable Bass Boost:
      - On a Pixel phone with Android 10+: Go to your phone’s Settings > and then Connected devices > and then Pixel Buds' settings.
      - On other Android devices: Open the Google Pixel Buds app.
      - Tap Sound.
      - Tap the toggle button to enable Bass boost.

We value your feedback, and we’ll make sure to pass along the details of it to the right team as we’re always working to understand our customer’s needs. We’re hoping that you’ll keep using your Google Pixel Buds A-Series, and we’re always here if you need assistance.
