||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Should have left the operating system it had when it shipped Bluetooth stopped working after a couple updates And last update 8 1.0 lock screen wouldn't work once it was locked I couldn't open it Finally got it unlocked had to remove the lock screen I thought Google wouldn't have bad updates that are supposed to fix things that was a bad assumption

Freezes and restarts very frequently
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I think Google Pixel phones have the potential to function well and be one of the best smartphones out there. However, I have had several problems with mine and I know I'm not the only one. First, my SIM card refused to activate with the phone. This seemed to be an issue on Verizon's end, and Best Buy employees were very helpful in replacing my SIM card and contacting Verizon to have it activated properly. Second, and my main issue with the phone, is that the screen frequently freezes and prompts the phone to restart. I have 'hard reset' the phone many times, but it only seems to help temporarily and then the problem starts up again. Not to mention every time I reset my phone I lose all my text messages and I have to set up my preferences again. Based on what I read online, I am not the only one who has experienced this issue. I also read somewhere that the freezing and restarting can be triggered by installing an app, and that the issue will go away after uninstalling it. However, with today's technology, this issue is completely unacceptable and I shouldn't have to reset my phone and uninstall apps to prevent freezing and restarting of the phone. My Samsung Galaxy S4 functioned much better than my current Google Pixel. I am hoping that the freezing and restarting is an issue with my specific device and not all Pixel phones. If possible, I plan to switch out my Pixel for one that doesn't freeze and restart multiple times a day.

Poor Design, missed the iPhone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did a lot of research of the phone, liked the reviews. But when I got the phone itself I felt the design was poor. Going from iPhone to Pixel, thought it was a very more high tech phone. If your an iPhone lover, stick to the iPhone.

Drop calls
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want a nice phone with nice features that drops 50 percent of the calls then this is the phone for you.I Paid 159 for Geek squad protection and they want to charge me a 150 deductible to send me back a refurbished phone when Verizon wireless and Google say it is a device issue and the phone should be replaced with new device.

Nice Phone but lacking
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Phone is a nice phone, but not worth the price. Screen is very week, and scratches easily. I was careful with this phone and before I could even get a screen protector it had a large scratch. Later with a live case on it i dropped it from just a few feet and it broke in 2 places. Google support pretty much said sucks to be you. I have had the phone about a month.
