    Bought this Chromecast for a guest bedroom. This Chromecast works perfect setup was easy and quick was watching Netflix within 5 minutes. Going to get another refurbished Chromecast for my den. I highly recommend purchasing this product.

    When I got home with the product, I went through the instructions and found that I had misunderstood what it would do for me. It appeared that I could get the same benefit by just connecting my tablet via HDMI to my TV, so I returned the Chromecast immediately without ever trying it.

    I bought it to cut the cable. Chrome cast is very easy to setup and works great bur the only problem is its not HD quality the picture is a little dark. So I got the newest version for the living room the next month.

    This first generation Google Chromecast is a great budget entry device for casting from phone, tablet, laptop, Not only movies/services like Netflix, but also any content from your laptop, when using Google Chrome. I highly recommend it.

    The refurbished chromecast performs fine but it seems to disconnect itself at odd times from my wifi. None of my other devices (tablets, roku, smart TVs, etc dont randomly disconnect from my network.
