SUPER FAST and improves on many things of the previous. Love that it has a built in remote tracker! If I lose the remote it will ring so I can find it! Remote is bigger and better as well. Worth every penny!

Intuitive. Streams all your Google Photos. Easily cast anything you want. Perfect product. My highest recommendation.

Performance is noticeably better than the previous gen, and the "find my remote" feature is an absolute must when you have children at home (you won't lose it again).

Picture amd audio quality is same as previous midel. I have 200 inch screen in a dedicated home theater and didn’t see any difference. Expected a lot with double the price. If looking for a chromecast, better go with older model itself. May be you can go with this if looking to use other options of using othrr than streaming. If its just for streaming, not worth $99

Wish google released a product to compete with these devices directly at the high end of hardware. New googletv features and the remote finder are a welcome addition. Onboard ethernet is gigabit, which is great. My wife likes the color, lets be honest that's the only metric that matters.

The item is packaged very well. The item was not easy to setup since it connected to my internet easily via the google home app but then my phone couldn't see it after that I need to proceed with manual setup. Device updated and thought everything was working but it is not turning the TV off and on. Once device is setup, I am not able to find where to setup the TV so it will turn the TV off and on when turning the device on. I might need to just reset the device and start over. I am liking that you can have dual profiles on one device though since that was missing on the last google device. Super easy to use and everything is very snappy and fast. I would recommend this device besides the painful setup process.

First impression

It was pretty easy to setup and it loaded some of my apps from the chromecast. Only downside is you have still have wires that show, but I was able to work around that.

Coming with the latest version of Google Tv, it's responsive and easy to use. It is a little expensive compared to competitors, by it a great option!

As for my teen, since we were already using Family Link for his phone and tablet, this just makes more sense. However, nobody (i.e. Apple or Amazon) can seem to get parental controls right! Still lacking in this department. I have not used it much, but performance seem better than even the latest Firestick. The porcelain color remote tells the truth of what black remotes tend to hide! Yuck. Think back to when computer keyboards and mice were light in color!
