So far it from what I can tell it's much faster than the older model with improvements to the remote and storage.

If your smart TV has trouble buffering the Wi-Fi signal, this will help resolve that. My LG TV became borderline unusable - none of the apps worked and would crash regularly. Rerouting everything through the Google streamer has everything running smoothly

I had always used another device to be able to watch television but I had never tried another one until I bought this one and the truth is much better it looks better quality when I watch a TV show

Purchased the grey version because the sheets in my bedroom a primarily white so it makes it easier to find the remote. I particularly recommend the latest Chromecast because it fits flawless within the ecosystem. It doesn't matter what brand the TV is, it can be works flawlessly.

I needed GOOGLE home on my ROKU TV so I could stream my GOOGLE NEST doorbell camera to my TV. It worked just fine. Of course it also added the GOOGE streaming platform, but I didn't really need that since I already had ROKU built into my TV.

This was a welcome upgrade for the Chromecast lineup. I had the previous Google TV with Chromecast 4K that came out a couple years ago and while that's still worked and did everything that I needed to do, this device does that but perfects it to a tee. Few if you were looking for a streaming device it doesn't break the bank this one is perfect for you from the redesigned remote to the new features offered this is a great device

Great upgrade for Google ChromeCast, Extremely fast interface, high resolution capabilities, easy to set up, HDMI eARC integration, remote is much better from a user interface, increases RAM and storage is an excellent upgrade.

The speed is fast and and picture quality is good. However, set up is little bit complex and price is little bit high.

At first i wast sure if it would be worth it or if it was really an upgrade other than more memory and a faster processor. I will say this. It was way better in every aspect. I was upset at first becasue it did not come with an HDMI cable but bought one anyway and its works great. Faster, and clearer Sharper. So yes i love it.

Easy to install and user friendly! I like the way it interfaces with my 10 plus year old television and the software is very easy to navigate for any technically challenged person (like myself)!

Works great! Connected to my TV and Bluetooth to my sound bar and it works flawlessly. I had surgery a could days ago so I can't do anything but sit in bed and watch shows and this thing has been a blessing to do so. It also controls Google home devices and is very convenient therein. Definitely worth the cash

I've had all the chromecasts through the years. This is by far the best one. If these were constantly around $75 it'd be a no brainer. Fast connection, improved remote. Easy to use still.

An excellent upgrade from the “old” google tv dongle we had been using for sometime. I’m not sure on the exact specs of the machine but it works flawlessly and smoothly. No hiccups, no lag, and you can even connect an external SSD to watch your own media with compatible apps like VLC. There is many customization options with this box and I recommend it over other media streamers out there.

Sadly, discontinued. Remote feature button finder is very nice remote. However, it's a very fragile treat with care. DIPLAYS IN 4K ONLY AT 60FPS 60 HZ. Very nice to be able to cast from bone directly to projector.

been using old chromecast 4k from 2020 was so laggy couldnt navigate thru menuse so slow this one is much faster easy to use more storage and there is now slowdown its so quick loading apps and most important has 1gb ethernet so happy its little expensive but its worth it

The Google streamer has been a significant improvement over other streaming/casting devices I've had previously. The quality is truly above others, the style blends with most decor so it doesn't throw off a room, and I personally feel like the AI integrations are above others versions; making for a unique experience, especially for curated viewing suggestions.
