    Floats Inverted

Works as described. Really floats but inverted. Good for videos because has a good reach and is comfortable to hold. Not so good for stills unless you have a Bluetooth remote. You will find yourself constantly reaching up for the shutter button which is even more difficult in the water. Invest in a floating stick with built-in waterproof Bluetooth remote.

Nice addition to my GoPro Session. Since I use the GoPole in the water, water does fill up inside the GoPole.

I was recommended this stick by a relative and it's great for taking selfies because of the clear pole (doesn't stick out in photos). It goes long enough to capture a great deal of background (perfect for the basic kind of pictures I take) but it is definitely not as long as some other sticks I've seen so keep that in mind. Waterproof but water will get into it, just won't damage it.

Perfect! Just the right price, lightweight and durable. More durable than I thought at first. Floats as described. Love having a pole thats see through so it's less distracting in photos if you happen to have it in your pic (although its better to hold in an angle so you never see the pole, but we al now that isn't always possible. Length as a short or extended pole is perfect for Gopro wide shots. You really don't need (or want) it longer for 99.9% of your shots. It does get water droplets in it even when you tighten the twist lock but it will dry up if you leave the twist lock loose. I think this water gets in when you got from long extension to short on d the inner pole part goes in the outer extension.

The GoPole is a great extension pole for the GoPro. Sure it may not extend to the length of some of the others out there, but its sufficient. Also, its waterproof, it floats and because the pole itself is clear its less noticeable in photos/videos than the other white and black ones.

    Decent pole

I have this pole along with the authentic GoPro pole. This pole is good if you're using your GoPro in water as it floats. It has a handy strap so in case you lose your grip, you don't lose your camera. It is a little big if you're just walking around since it doesn't fold down like an authentic GoPro pole. I do find that the thumbscrew on this pole is a little harder to thread through than the authentic. When extending the pole, the pole sometimes gets stuck and you have to wiggle it around quite a bit before it loosens up for adjustment.

Right out the box I noticed a few things. I first noticed some glue residue on the black mount. There were glue goop on random places on the pole itself. There seems to be some on the inner tube as well. Even if it is supposed to be there, I find it unsightly. The pole itself it decent. It is lightweight and feels good to hold. If your GoPro starts to shift towards, you need to tighten your screw on the mount. I got this pole when it was on sale so I am still on the fence on whether to keep or return it.

My husband did NOT want to pay $50 for a plastic tube. I talked him into it. He agreed that in the middle of the ocean, the peace of mind that your gopro wouldn't sink to the bottom of the ocean was worth the premium. This thing worked great, is compact to travel with, and works as advertised. Only downfall is that it lets in a bit of moisture to the sliding action part. Not fun to think about with sea water. A quick disassembly each night allowed it to air out to factory dry.

Good selfie stick for water use

I purchased this selfie stick to specifically use in the water. It does float and you are able to easily spot it do to its bright color. The only problem with the stick is that water does protrude inside the stick once submerged and there is no way to open it and rinse it out after use in salt water and the inside does not dry out no matter how many days left out in the heat.

The GoPole started out very good at first but after frequent submersions in the Ocean the o-ring started to wear and water got stuck on the interior of the pole. The tip loosens fairly quick and can be a little difficult to lock in place sometimes. Other then that it was fantastic the pole floats extends well and has a rope to loop around on the base.

This is my first go pro. Being that I wasn't sure what type of stick to get. After having the short floating stick I found out having an extention would be ideal. I love that it's both an extention and floating in one. I gave it 4 instead of 5 because the rubber seal sometimes makes it difficult to change the height.

Super excited about purchasing this product. Now it is easier than ever to take great photos with my gopro especially group shots. I love that it's waterproof and floats because we use it out on the boat a lot. The ONLY reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the quality. It seems kind of cheap for the amount of money you pay for it. I expected it to be made of thicker materials.

I was really excited to use the GoPole EVO stick. I did my research and I believe this was the only GoPro Selfie Stick that was waterproof. I worked well and it was very lightweight. I would rate the item 5 stars but I had a small issue with the stick getting stuck while I extending stick or retracting it. Overall great material and durability.

When I first go this, I was not happy. I meant to get the other go pole. However, I was forced to use this one, and I loved it! It is a little more short than the other, but one good feature is that it is clear. I use mine for concerts mostly. The best part is when I get close to the front I don't have to worry about blocking other peoples view or getting yelled at for that. Give it a shot before you say no. Its worth it!

expensive for what it is made from, I have not yet been to depth with it, but, it will float I'm told, and that along with floaty back door, is potentially a save for my gopro camera. Seems easy to adjust . Definitely easier to travel with which is what I am doing

I was really pleased with this until it cracked. I think it may have been me over tightening the telescopic part so I cant knock it too much. Very light, water tight and seems strong.

Compact, easy-to-extend, pole for my son's GoPro. Got awesome, close up video of fish & turtles on vacation. Pros: compact, lightweight, floats. Cons: No matter what you do, water droplets are still left in the shaft of the pole. Would have rated excellent if pole could be taken apart & dried out.

First one got water leaking into the top half from the black piece while snorkeling in the Keys. I returned it and the service was amazing. I didn't have my receipt but since I purchased with a card, they were able to search for it in their computer and I was able to exchange for another one. My friend tried out the second one and no complaints of water leaking back in. I read reviews about this stick and it was highly recommended. I believe I just had a bad pole.
