I've used this both in the dash of my car and while taking photos of hummingbirds. I'd like the battery life to be a bit longer, but it wouldn't stop me from purchasing another one. The Session was able to get images of the hummingbirds almost as clearly as one of my DSLR cameras!

Had been wanting a GoPro for a while now but didn't want to spend so much for a higher end model, nor did I want to pay less for a basic model. After buying the Session and playing around with it, I am glad I bought this model. Small, Nice Quality, (Has a learning curve to it, but manageable). Overall its a great camera, and it comes waterproof out of the box, no need for extra casing. Great buy.

I had previously owned a hero black 3+ and this was my replacement system. I have always been happy with GoPro's products and been very happy with how they performed. These little guys pack so much in such a simple, versital, and user friendly setup. I use mine for off-road and track auto racing, hunting, Airsoft, and outdoors adventuring. They have meet my demands in everyone of these uses. The smaller package is easier to use due to being less obstructive, the ability to flip the camera around in the frame opens up a huge amount of options that used to require oversize or custom mounts, and flip open side door that allows charging while shooting are get features of this unit. For the price between products, given my video demands I was able to buy 2 of these for what I would have spent on a single unit. Battery life has been pretty good, and 32gb SDs are a great match.

We bought this because of its size and megapixels plus being waterproof. The only problem with buying it so new to the market is it is very difficult to find the extra waterproof case that will allow you to take it down to 44 meters....not even in the international terminals with every bell and whistle imaginable.

Purchased the Sessions for its size but also the wider view of video. Love that it has very little fish eye effect compared to other GoPros. Size is much better for use on the motorcycle and when using a selfie pole video is smooth with little shake.

I like that it's small and light. Easy to use! Video and sound is great

This was our first camera, and we bought it for Valentine's day 2 years ago. It has been a great entry level camera since then. The footage underwater looks great, the price was reasonable for the product quality. Make sure to use the free app, because otherwise you will not be able to preview the footage directly from the camera. Also, my only complaint is that shortly after purchasing it, the camera would take a few seconds to turn on, then shut off, and then turn on again and proceed to record. The time between shutting off and turning on the second time to start recording eventually grew in length after months of the problem. After all the updates and phone calls with customer service, nothing was done to replace/fix the camera even with its one year warranty. Things I purchased through another website for this product include a micro SD card and a travel case. Once you have those things you will be ready to start your own adventure.

I bought this to take to Disney and capture the trip in my kids perspective. While I juggled between this and the hero silver, I went with this because I decided the lcd screen wasn't a huge deal breaker for me, and at half the price it was a steal. It takes great video and pictures. Underwater is even great, we took it in the pool and in the Gulf!

GoPro has caught a lot of flack for this product and how it is placed/priced in their lineup. But my son loves it. Durable, simple to use, small, nice video quality and plenty of accesory options. Seems to be a great and less expensive fit for my son and his needs/interests

i use this for paintball and fast paced footage. it is crisp, clear, tracks and focus well. For its size, the recent price drop, the capability is off the charts.

very compact and portable.audio is excellent.the best thing is no more changing cases to fit the environment.it goes everywhere and not carrying those cases around is a plus.had a little trouble syncing my remote but tech support over the phone had me up in minutes.now my remote works for both my go pros.

love this thing. video quality is pretty good and allows for wide or normal recording. wireless access is nice, but pressing the button to start/stop recording is easier and the free video editor is easy to manage for beginners.

I bought the GoPro Sessions for my teenage daughter for her ski trip. The video quality is excellent. For my eyes, I cant tell the difference between the quality of this one and the more expensive cameras. Well worth the $200.

This is a cool little Go Pro. This was my first one. I like the size and the video looks good. I think My next one will be the 4 Hero Black to shoot in 4K. A lot more money but the video quality will step up. :)

I used the Session on a recent ski trip and it was great. Video and audio quality is very good and the size is fantastic. The bluetooth connection to my iPhone worked very well and also used it on its own.

I have been waiting for smaller form GoPro. My primary use is for a dash cam. Due to the fact it is a go pro, it is very versatile, using to record my brother's music performances, bicycling, vacation, and marathons. Right now I am debating on purchasing another.

If you are looking for GOPRO and don't need the LCD screen. Then this is it. We use it on my service dogs harness for training and access issues. It fits great on his handle and has a large recording area. It is nice to have the simple button on top to turn off and on. No need to worry about battery life with the LCD on or off. Can record 3-4 hours depending on the settings. I can even control it from my phone like the other GOPRO cameras. It does disable your ability to use your phone when connected, but it is fine for reviewing videos or checking settings. Not a bad little camera at all.

The camera takes awesome video, the sound is great and takes nice pics. Capturing stills from film is awesome esp with 1080p @ 60 frames/sec. Will run a bit hot, so don't keep in direct sun when not using.
