For that reason alone I decided to exchange for the black 7. If battery isn't important for you, silver is a better price point, and I think the quality of the silver is on par with the black.

Nice camera but your phone has to handle it.

It travels well and can fit in any pocket. However one initial problem i had was that my phone was too old. For me to control the gopro from my phone was not going to work. Make sure you check the specs on your phone.
