    Batteries work fine, but you do go through them, so you need to have extras. I’m taking one star off because on two other batteries, the tabs (for removing from camera) have come off.

    If you upgraded to a hero 8, you'll need this battery to maximize your new go pro to the max and I love it.

    This battery does hold the charge better than the knock offs. I would recommend for the new Hero8

    This is a great battery for the GoPro 8 Black. It will last for about 70 minutes of constant use. Would be nice if it lasted longer; but it recharges fairly quickly.

    i use them in my hero 8 i make sure to have 4 or more on hand when used 2-3 times a week about 6-8 months the batterys swell and are no longer flat enough to fit in the camera i still use my 8's but the oem batterys are not offered by bestbuy found some after market ones on amazon since its my only option along with getting a 10 2 years ago and now a hero 12 for my vloging up close

    we bought a go pro hero7 black for a trip to cabo.. but wanted to make sure I had enough power for a whole days outing.. this was perfect. great price too.

    I've never had too many issues with the GoPro batteries. Granted, I wish that it would last longer, but, the technology isn't quite there yet. Overall, nothing to complain about with the GoPro line.
