I think all GoPro cameras should come with this mount included. The waterproof mount for the camera is great, but there is no way to charge the camera battery or externally power the camera in the waterproof case. The Frame Mount solves this issue. I know many customers who mount their cameras on the dash of their vehicles during travel. The battery in the camera runs only about 5 to 6 hours, so if you are traveling longer than that, you will either need to stop and change batteries or power the camera from the vehicle's power source. The Frame Mount has a cutout in the side to provide access to the power port and the SD card. I use my GoPro a lot, and I use the Frame Mount about 99% of the time the camera is in use.

This case is awesome. I use my GoPro as a dashcam and it has an opening on the side so you can get to your card easier and allows you to keep a USB cable plugged in for a longer battery life when driving.

I bought this frame to use at my son's baseball games. I mount the camera on the fence and the enclosed frames all had muffled sound. This frame provides a lens protector as well as full sound capability. The video is so much better when I can hear the full sounds of the game.

I am a storm chaser. I purchased the frame mount because I need to be able to supply constant power to my GoPro and be able to have it mounted to the windshield to use as a streaming camera. The audio quality is increased using this mount versus the waterproof or skeleton cases.

This was a great purchase! I love that I can switch this between my gopro3 and 4! Fit easily in the pocket. And great for my dog where it won't be exposed to dirt or water.

This is a nice item to have with your gopro hero 3/4 camera. It makes the camera much lighter without the underwater housing, although it is a bit flimsy and made almost entirely out of cheap plastic. I have been using this holder much more than I initially thought I would, but I am waiting for it to break or fall apart with alot of use and wear/tear. It also does not provide as much grip or hold the camera as securely as I would like. With some pressure you can easily push the camera out of the holder, which could spell disaster if you are doing some serious activity or activity involving lots of vibration/shaking. I also dont understand why it is so expensive for such a little piece of plastic which barely covers the camera. It has way less plastic (and lower quality plastic) than one of the shoes or brackets. However despite all of this, I would certainly recommend it to other people.

With this frame . It makes it very useful to use the GoPro without having it enclosed , just make sure not to get it wet bc it isn't water proof with this frame

The Frame mount is definitely a must have for your GoPro. It's light and and makes it much easier to access the memory card slot and charging spot on the side.

Works great because I use the product with an external mic and I can easily plug it in with no issues. I like the lens cover to keep it protected as well.

Overall a great product that gives a nice frame for the go pro without sealing up entire system completely. Depending on application this works very well.

The frame mount is great when you need quick access to the ports on your Hero 4 for charging the battery and changing microSD cards. The lens protector is a plus. I would have given a 5 star rating, if GoPro had included a lens cap.

I needed a mount that allowed charging while in use, this fit that need exactly and still protected the lens with a cap. Well worth the money!

This is a handy little device to throw in your go pro bag. Obviously when your camera doesn't need to be protected from the elements. Allows for great sound quality. Very nice feature is the included lens protector, to add some protection for those accidental drops. Price seems a little high for the amount of materials that is reqired to make it, but worth it.

This product fits my GoPro Hero 4 Black perfectly and the audio comes out great! Perfect for any action sports enthusiast like myself.

This naked mount is great. You get a clear picture and sound without the water proof cover. Get it, but don't get your camera wet.
