I use this case on the GoPro as dashcam (inside) so it keeps the heat low and easy access to charging & downloading.

THIS WAS FOE MY SON AND HE REALLY LIKES IT A LOT AND USES IT ALL THE TIME. GREAT FOR FAMILY GET TOGETHERS AND OUTINGS. THE PICTURES ARE GREAT AND EVERYONE WANTS COPIES WHICH ARE EASY TO DO ALSO.

Worked great. I needed more sound that I wasn't getting from the waterproof case. And the lens cover is a PLUS!

Nice to have an open case for things like documentary type stuff, social events, and interviews. just need to have a better processor that can handle the camera.. whooooo worth every penny of it.

I bought this for using the GoPro inside the car on a suction cup mount. The Frame has a hole in the side to access the USB power cord port. This way I can do time-lapse of driving while the GoPro is plugged into a charger in the car dashboard. NOTE: The Frame provides NO protection from the elements whatsoever! But it does come with a protective glass cover for the GoPro's lens. Do not use the Frame if you are in dusty or wet conditions.

I needed a case that would hold the gopro but would not block the ports, mic and memory card slot. this is the perfect accessory but gopro is a little proud with their prices.

You get the waterproof case when you buy your go pro, make sure you add this to your cart also!! It gives you much better sound quality when you aren't in need of your camera being completely waterproof.

i have the suction cup for it to record while driving and this helps so i can have it plugged in and charging so no need to change batteries. gives good access to everything

Works as it should, probably no different than a cheaper knock off. It's a fairly tight fit, it's sometimes a challenge to get the camera in and out, but rest assured it certainly won't fall out. YOU CAN USE BACPAC PRODUCTS WITH THIS MOUNT, which is totally awesome!

This is a must-have accessory for any go pro aficionado. This is for anyone who does not want a giant case around the golf pro while using it for non-extreme activities.

Simply put, the Frame lets you mount up your GoPro and still plug in a battery and a mic. It's worked like a charm, and I can't believe it took me this long to get one!

I like this frame for all of my dry and not risky recording. The audio is much better using this frame and it is easy to take the camera in and out of.

The Frame Mount is great when I'm just using it for the day as more of a dash cam and regular camera. I can just pop it in the frame mount and clip it in the car, then when we want to jump out of the car to shoot something - the frame mount has a release to open it up so you can easily pop the camera out and there you go. I also have a GoPro Battery BacPac which works well with it. The lens cover is a huge plus too.

I like this frame when I am doing video inside. The camera does stay cooler when I use this frame since I do not have any wind blowing across it. It also allows me to hook up external devices to it.

Seems well constructed, my only gripe is I'm. It sure all the microphone/speaker ports are correct for the go pro 4. Box says its compatible but doesn't seem like it is entirely. Haven't downloaded to see how good the audio is yet. May revise later.

Needing to connect my Hero4 to other devices (like monitors), this "frame" is the most ideal addition to my camera. I use it just about everytime I use my Hero4!

I needed a way to mount the Go Pro while recording a 5 hour time lapse sequence while hooked up to power, since the Go Pro will only go for a couple hours on it's own battery. This was a good solution for that issue, since I can hook up the power cord while mounted in the frame. Even comes with 2 protectors, one for the back where the Back Pack connects to it, and another larger lens protector.

Doesn't add bulk to the camera. Sound is awesome when using the frame

I like the waterproof housing but it limits the sound capture, with the frame mount the camera is still protected and the sound capture quality is great!
