Like most GoPro accessories, it works well, but is really much more expensive than it should be. Also, it will not withstand being launched from a trebuchet on a giant lawn dart 500 feet into the air.

Purchased this before a vacation to Hawaii. Used it on 4 dives with great results. It works for slightly larger depths compared to the standard case but the more important benefit is the glass lense. If you're diving below 35 ft, definitely invest in a lease filter to compensate for the loss of warm colours at depth.

Took case to 170 feet without camera and no leaks! Took again to 130 and 155 feet with camera inside an had no problems. Have used the case several times since then and love how easy it opens versus the regular HERO 3 Black case! Highly recommend for diving!

A lot of people think there's not much difference in the waterproof case that comes with the GoPro and the Dive Case. But there is! Thankfully I did my homework and learned this. (There are comparison videos on YouTube). There's nothing wrong with the case that comes with the camera, but if you want the best possible picture quality available during a dive (I would think you would if you're spending $500 for a camera), the Dive case is the perfection purchase.

Bought this item to protect my go pro when filming under water. Camera remained dry and the video was perfect.

I'm new to GOPRO cameras, but I'm not new to diving. Anyone who has looked for an affordable solution to underwater video recording has most likely realized that the options are VERY slim! Needless to say this was my attraction to the Hero 2. The only problem.... the BLUR! There are a multitude of products to fix the blur, but this is the first product offered by GOPRO, and I must say it is an amazing product. The case functions just like the original, with an identical latching mechanism. The difference in the flat front lens. It gives amazing quality and allow the camera to give sharp focus above or below the water. Note: The new lens cuts off about half of the LCD display, but you can still see most of it. My only complaint is that GOPRO hasn't released any clip on filters; however, I doubt it will be long before they do. You can take off the lens cover with a 6 point screwdriver and drop your own gel filters in there if you'd like, but I'm not sure if this will compromise the waterproofing.

I have the Gopro Hero 4 silver and it's a perfect fit with all the removable back faces that come in the box with it. Since i have bought this case, the pressure of the case while closing it shut has been persistent. Make sure to clean the case every time before use, so that debris can be cleaned out from the case.

I like how the underwater housing is built better for the water then the case that comes with it. It does not do well out of water with the LCD back screen. Mine got little to hot when I was to lazy to change cases.

This housing provides excellent waterproof protection for the GoPro camera while scuba diving. I have used this on several dives and have not had one leak.

We bought this for our son and daughter-in-law. They used it on their wedding & honeymoon for great video for everything from the wedding, reception, on the cruise and even underwater snorkeling! Love the clarity and variety of the video. So glad they had it.

After spending the money to buy the best Hero 4 Black camera, I couldn't take a chance of scuba diving to 100' without the best waterproof case they make. It worked perfectly.

I send this product as a gift to my cousin, it was a replacement to his old GoPro case, and he is very happy about it!

A total must have so you don't have to question or be afraid to get it wet... I am keeping it on and using it whenever and wherever possible! Rain, snow and MUD!

Great for the go pro to record underwater footage and keep the camera safe

I needed a replacement for my skeleton case, and didn't want a new battery pack. This case has options to house not only the Hero3 and battery pack, but also other backs for various needs. So it was a little expensive just to replace the skeleton case but did the trick.

Kayaking in the Fjords...yes you will need this little extra item. Buy it and never worry again about your items getting water damaged.

So excited to use this on our vacation, doing lots of water activities and will need it to capture all oc the fun!

We bought this for our 16 year old "world's most critical analyst and movie maker." Trust me, if this wasn't exactly what the kid needed for his constant par cor excursions in the wet, Northwest woods, we would have heard about it. Ok, I admit I haven't used it myself, or frankly even seen it since we gave it to him, but he is out there running around, jumping over stuff, bouncing off of things, almost every day. And that go pro goes with him.

Great for those deep dives !!!....Great housing !!! I use it all the time for other activities as well !!!
