Enjoyed so very much and received quickly and interesting

Gordon Lightfoot has been the biggest influence on my songwriting since I started to create my own material in 1972, and he has been my teacher and friend for the last fifty-two years. This beautifully produced 91-minute film documents Lightfoot's entire performing and most of his personal history, from his humble beginnings in rural Ontario in the 1940's and 1950's and his development as Canada's exemplary singer/ songwriter and his American following, right through his high-water marks of his best-selling albums, up to the musician emeritus as he is regarded today. The show is filled with well-known information, as well as stories kept out of the public's eye until now. Whether you're a fan of the man's music or not, the effort here gives you an appreciation for why Lightfoot has come to symbolize Canada, and vice versa. You will watch this video many times before you set it aside to collect dust, and you will share it. Highly recommended for a place in your music library!

Lightfoot has been around for a zillion years, and rightfully so........He was, is, and will continue to be one of the greatest musicians to ever grace our stages and ears. Though younger listeners may not know that much about him, this is a great starting point in getting familiar with not only the music, but the man himself. Still dedicated to his craft, I can't see him going out anyway but singing........Good on Ya Mr L, keep on keeping on!

This DVD was wonderful and I shared it with many others. The video showed Gordon Lightfoot's rise to fame, struggles and victories - plus the music was beautifully put together.

I saw him in person in the early 70's and about ten years ago. Very informative movie. Great history of a great artist.
