I wasnt crazy about the album as a whole at first, but upon repeat listens the songs take their own identity. I still wish it wasnt as soft, but the songs themselves are still great.

I was happy with the new release of this album but unfortunately my local store didn't have them . It was worth driving to the next closest one to pick always been a fan of Deftones

Even though the Deftones have been around for many years, they continue to make unique and relevant music that holds its own against younger and more modern groups.

Deftones are always changing their sound and it's always good. This isn't my favorite album and it doesn't have the best production value but it's still a good album.

More akin to the last 2 albums, GORE is a balancing act between spacy atmospheric strolls & djent based resurrected nu metal channeled through all things alternative.

If you are a fan of the Deftones and like the direction their last few albums have been going I believe you will enjoy this. Not the best Deftones but a solid effort.

This is certainly not one of the best Deftones albums but it is fairly solid. I think Diamond Eyes and White Pony simply have a better sound and better lyrics.

Anyone who might have liked them before will love this one. It ranges from the more melodic type stuff, to full sore throat screaming. Great stuff.

The deftones have really refined their sound lately and it's great. Since the death of chi their bassist they seem to have really gotten atmosphere with this big sound that draws you in. It's gettin me all sweaty just thinking about it.

If your a fan of Deftones you will enjoy this CD. The music isn't as heavy as some of their earlier material, but it has Deftone's signature sound.

This is definitely a more ethereal and sexy album than Deftones are used to putting out. The last 2 albums were just hard and driving, but this album is good to rock out to and / or cuddle with your significant other on the couch.

Unlike other bands that came up in the "nu-metal" era, Deftones once again prove their ability to stay relevant with another solid album.

I was not sure what to expect with this CD. I knew there would be perhaps more melody and less heavy parts. But the mix is just right.

At first, this sounds very different from previous Deftones recordings. Truly, it's an evolution of their sound and it works so well. I've rarely had the disk out of my car's player for a month. Strongly recommended!

Gore, is what you would expect from, the guys from Sacremento! I would put this album as my 2nd favorite, right after White Pony.

Deftones new release is solid & dark not unlike their recent releases. Includes the single Prayers/Triangles, a great track.

Awesome record, not as heavy as previous releases but maintains that beautiful/heavy sound that made them huge in the 1990's!

I love Deftones. However at first listening I was disappointed. However, this album grows on you. This is somewhat of a departure for Deftones. Not my most favorite but a great addition to the catalogue.

This is a great new album from the Deftones. Its going in a slightly different direction musically than previous albums, but to me in a good way, I appreciate artistic change so I dig it. Check it out!!
