I’ve been using the Govee 9.8ft Wi-Fi RGBICW LED Strip Light for a bit now, and overall I’m pretty happy with it. Setup was straightforward—peel, stick, plug it in, and connect it to the app. The app itself is easy to use and has a ton of color options and effects, which is nice if you like changing the vibe of a room. The colors are bright and look good, and I really like that it can do both colors and warm/white lighting. The RGBIC feature makes the effects look more interesting than a basic strip since multiple colors can show at once. It works well with Wi-Fi and responds quickly when I change settings from my phone. The adhesive is decent, though I’d recommend cleaning the surface well before sticking it up. The strip isn’t cuttable, so make sure the length works for your space before buying. Other than that, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Overall, it’s a solid LED light strip for the price and a nice upgrade if you want some extra lighting or ambiance in a room without spending a lot.

We have so many Govee lights (15 including this one). The reason we own so many lights (both indoor and outdoor) is because they are so easy to install, stay connected and provide great illumination. This last one, the 10’ strip light was for our headboard. We have the strip light slowly brighten 30 minutes before we wake up. We did have Philips Hue strip light but after almost 5 years, it was get dark spots and not always connecting. Since I already have a bunch of Govee Lights, I know they produce a better light at half the price than Hue Lights.

Wow. An LED strip that connect with Matter + Apple Home and is a fraction of the cost of Phillips Hue brand. Not only is this light bright and beautiful, the price is amazing snd The app comes loaded with fun features. It integrates perfectly into my Apple ecosystem for full control via app or via Siri. The colors are gorgeous and create an incredible atmosphere in any room it’s in.

Great lights super bright so the dimmable feature is nice for the evening plus having the whole Govee eco system is great able to control almost all my lights and more from one app and the widgets on iOS are great . And it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to get more for the eco system like the Phillips hue I abandoned due to the astronomical pricing

Pretty easy to install and I love how interactive and user friendly the app is, good quality material and it comes with everything you’ll need to install your lights, I installed this lights in my rabbits cage and he definitely loves it as well! I can do my daily errands without having to worry about my rabbit being in the dark since the app allows you to set specific on/off times which makes everything easier.

Sometimes you can buy these and they will short out or stop working instantly but these have worked great since the day we installed! Great addition to our new TV!

Great little light strip. Very bright, lots of options for colors and settings. Works without downloading any app. My only complaint is that I wish it was just a little stickier, but we also put it on fabric. When stuck to metal or glass, it stuck just fine.

I’ve used these Govee 9.8 ft LED lights, and they’re a great budget way to add mood lighting to a bedroom, desk area, or behind a TV. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the smart app control makes it easy to pick scenes, set timers, and sync to music — it’s fun and customizable. The voice control with Alexa/Google Assistant works well enough for basic color changes too.  What surprised me most is how much you can do with them for the price — dynamic effects, DIY color patterns, and music mode feel a lot more advanced than expected. The strip is easy to install with the included adhesive, although you’ll want to press it down firmly so it doesn’t peel off walls over time.  If there’s a downside, it’s that the brightness isn’t strong enough to light up a room by itself — these are ambient lights, not primary lighting — and some of the dynamic effects (like strobes) can look a bit choppy or less smooth than you’d hope (others have noted this too).  Overall: I’d say these are worth it for fun, colorful lighting that’s easy to control and customize, especially for gaming setups, accent lighting, or just adding atmosphere. Just don’t expect them to be super bright room lights.

I love these lighting strips so much and yes you can spend less but the quality is so good! Definitely worth every penny. These lights are so seamless to install and you can also cut them if needed. I installed under my desk to give it a cool vibe. It looks so good we even got a set for my husbands pc. The app is super easy to use and also change colors, Just buy it already!
