I have enjoyed olaying all of the Gran Turismo games.

When it works, it is fun; however, the Gran Turismo servers keep going off line. The took the servers down for maintenance yesterday, and the game was essentially not playable for over 24 hours.

Great game but poor decisions by developers and corporate greed made this game unenjoyable.

5 stars when the servers are up. I would give 0 stars when the servers are down.

Single player mode is too short. Payouts for wins are too low. It’s impossible to collect the best cars without making the game a full time job or spending significant amounts of real cash.

Didn’t get a chance to purchase a PS5 so I bought the PS4 version of Gran Turismo 7. It’s a bit much with a very long grind to unlock vehicles normally given by winning races in past GT games. So far it doesn’t have the cars I want and tend to push you to the actual dealership websites depending on where you live. Really! They really should have KISS’ed this. Some of us just want to drive to relax and enjoy a game but they add so much unnecessary garbage to the game and roadblocks to progress that it will most likely take a back seat to more easily access games I own instead.

So much better when the game is back to its roots.

The game is absolutely beautiful, a ton of cars and you learn a lot about the history of individual manufacturers, car models and the automotive industries. Unfortunately they ruined this game last week with the latest patch. If you intend to play the game with the cars they give you as rewards then great. If you have any aspiration to collect cars, this is not the game for you. They reduced payouts by about 1/2-2/3 depending on the race. With cars costing $20+ million this makes it impossible to be a collector. I bought the game because I am a car guy and I wanted to collect the cars, drive them around tracks and play with them. I can't do that if I am having to save every penny to get a car from the limited window they give you to buy them. Inviations (an in game feature that lets you buy special limited vehicles), is a waste because there is no way you can save that much in the time window given. I am going back to Grid Legends, Forza and believe it or not Farming Simulator is better than the crippled economy that Polyphony has created.

This game doesn't require microtransactions but if you want the best cars, you're going to have to grind it out for horribly long times to get it. Or you can pay their microtransaction... This is not a return to Gran Turismo's glory days. It could have been but money hungry people are running this outfit.

Anti Consumer Always Online DRM even for single player mode is the death of gaming.
