This is a really fun game to play with realistic racing mechanics. It is really focused on realism rather than flashiness. Games like Forza or GTA are more about the glitzier stuff, like crazy racing stunts or high-end sports cars, whereas GT7 is more grounded and really makes all kinds of vehicles shine (not just high-end sports cars) by telling you about the history and culture around each car. It is a game about racing as well as collecting all kinds of cars from around the world and learning about them, which I really like. It has made me build an appreciation for cars generally, including more everyday ones. My one critique is the lack of a free roam mode is super disappointing, especially since more car games are including this. You're not always in the mood to race; sometimes you just want to explore a cool environment in your favorite vehicle. One thing that helps with this a bit is the photo mode, which allows you to choose from a huge collection of sets around the world and pose, photograph, and edit different shots of cars. I LOVE this feature so much. But I wish there were more things to do like this outside of racing on the courses.

This is definitely one the best Gran Turismo games I have played. Graphics are impressive, controls are tight, and the overall presentation is superb, worth every cent!!!!

The graphics are insanely good and the haptic feedback on the controller is superb.

I have been playing Gran Turismo since it first came out on the Playstation and have collected each release on any Playstation console it is available on. I like the Classic Garage where you have a chance buying the rare cars from the previews Gran Turismo games, like the Toyota Celica in Gran Turismo 4.

Game is fun and a great racing simulator. The amount of grind to obtain vehicles is quite a bit, so be prepared to play a lot to get what you want.

It's a solid, beautiful game, but the lack of a true career mode and the expensive price for some cars is maddening. I hadn't played GT since GT4 on the PS2, so I was hoping for an updated version of that. It's not a bad game, it's actually really enjoyable, I just wish it wasn't so focused on trying to get you to buy in-game credits, but that seems to be the way video games are done these days.

It’s not perfect, but it’s day am near close! Love the game play, the graphics, the cars, the upgrades, and the longevity of play. If you like racing games, you’ll love it. If you want to start to try racing games, you will find no game better to start.

Game is great, microtransctions are not. Hopefully they adjust the in game economy more. Not ideal for a $70 game.

Ok game, not as good as I expected. I loved the first 3 gran turismos but the last few have been disappointing

Great game. The graphics aren't THAT much better than GT6 or GT Sport honestly. But then again Sony had to make PS4 and PS5 versions so what do you expect. Fun as usual, licenses and such. I look forward to GT8 when it's pure next gen graphics quality.

This game is the best car game i ever played,the graphics, the game play and ease of use for someone who has never played granturismo before, it was worth the wait

This game is Battlefield 2 all over again. The game is always online, if the servers are down you cannot play at all. And guess what? The servers went down for one of the longest times of any game. On top of that, they waited a week for the good reviews to pour in before updating the game to reduce the credits rewarded. The game was already a grind to get credits, now it's insane and nearly impossible to save credits for the higher value cars. The game looks amazing, but they have absolutely ruined it.

My heart still holds the PS2 Gran Turismo A-Spec as the reigning GT champion, but GT7 is a great game. Man does it look good on PS5. Car physics and gameplay are solid... graphics for PS5 even on the non resolution setting are outstanding. There aren't any shortage of menu options. Only thing I didn't really like was having to do the menu books to unlock basic features, like the tuning options.

Honestly, was my decision maker in purchasing another PlayStation. I've had every model but the 4th.

Awesome game that demonstrates the power of the PS5. The controls are fantastic and it also works great with the Thrustmaster T-150 steering wheel. Bought on launch day and no bugs so far.
