The whole reason I ended up buying a PS5 was to play the new College Football '25 game but I bought GT7 while I waited for CFB25 and haven't really been interested in it to let it pull me away from GT7. I've gone through most of the game and still want to play it as much as I did the first week. The graphics are outstanding and there are numerous ways to play it and accomplishments to get on it. My wife and I play split screen but I don't play online multiplayer because there's so many other ways to race with different prizes (weekly challenges, menus, bonus menus, extra menus, licenses, sport... too many to list).

That just keep polishing this series up making it better with each iteration. I mainly play on psvr2. It is nuts. There is nothing like it out there right now. Feels so realistic if you have even a bargain wheel (Logitech g920). Feels like an race rpg/car collector

This game has always been very fascinating since grand juries of one came out. Just the overall experience, the different vehicles and the history of this video game. Also gives you an inside of the different places around the world

Let's start saying this is a driving game. Which means what it means... but among driving games, this is one of the most realistic one.
The engine and tire sounds are amazing, it feels like you're really in that car driver's seat.
I don't have a fancy chair with wheel and pedals, so just play with the controller. I'm far from good but the game is still fun in normal difficulty level and the fact that turning the controller can turn the car is really cool.
I don't play online, so can't tell about the competitiveness or how nice/mean other drivers are, but just playing on single player mode I've been busy for several hours, and still quite few to go.

This game is not resting on the laurels of its predecessors.
It's been a while, I'm rusty.
But the experience of this game can go from competitive to sheer fun real quick.

Grand Turismo is what got me into console gaming when the original PlayStation came out. I played that game for the better part of 2 years as a kid. I was ecstatic when I finally managed to get a PS5 so I could play GT7 “the way it was meant to be played”. I wish I’d just gotten it for PS4 some time ago.
Unless there is something I’m missing, playing split screen in this game is pathetic. You get a very limited selection of playable cars, none from the cars you unlock/buy as you play the campaign. I have no desire to race my buddy in a stock Focus ST. If I did, I’d just do that in real life. And you have to have an internet connection to do a local multiplayer race.
The big issue with this game for me is needing an internet connection in general to play anything aside from a very limited selection of cars in arcade races that don’t count for anything nor are recorded/saved.
You cannot play ANY of the single player campaign without an internet connection. While this may not be an issue for most people, if you have spotty internet, you can literally be kicked out of a race seconds from finishing because your connection went out (and stayed out long enough to trigger that). This is extremely annoying when you’re on lap 20 of a 20 lap endurance race on the Nurbringer Ring. And why I only give this game 3 stars.
The gameplay is generally good, the way they do the campaign is a bit silly, but if you really like cars and the history surrounding some classic and iconic cars, they do a decent job of giving you that. It doesn’t feel too grindy to make money and purchase ever better cars and upgrades. Just make sure you have solid internet when you go to play.

As expected, GT7 on PS5 is STUNNING. A must have for any PS5 library as a mainstay driving simulator. Nothing is more realistic or has more experience in making perfect driving conditions in a video game.

Gran Turismo 7 on PS5 delivers stunning visuals, realistic physics, and immersive gameplay. DualSense haptics enhance driving feel, while extensive car customization and dynamic weather add depth. The campaign is engaging, though microtransactions can be intrusive. A must-play for racing fans, blending nostalgia with modern innovation.

This is the title to get if you want realistic driving. If you’ve only ever played games like need for speed, there’s a learning curve, but the payoff is worth the effort
