After many years of playing Forza instead, I finally decided to go back to Gran Turismo. I am very impressed by GT7. Amazing graphics, good physics, interesting tracks, and a nice selection of cars. I play with PSVR2 and the experience is unmatched. I take my real-life car on the track and this game is closer than I expected to the driving dynamics.

Gran Turismo 7 is a very good racing game that offers a fantastic driving experience for players. The graphics and attention to detail are simply stunning, and the gameplay is smooth and responsive.
One of the standout features of this game is the sheer number of cars and tracks available to players. With over 400 cars to choose from and dozens of tracks to race on, there is always something new and exciting to discover. And with the addition of the GT Cafe, players can customize their cars and compete in various events to earn rewards and progress through the game.
The only downside to this game is the occasional long loading times and occasional bugs or glitches. However, these issues are relatively minor and don't detract from the overall enjoyment of the game.
Overall, Gran Turismo 7 is an very good racing game that is sure to delight fans of the genre. With its impressive graphics, realistic physics, and vast array of cars and tracks, it offers an immersive and exciting driving experience that is hard to beat. I would highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys racing games.
Note: if you've played Forza or Forza Horizon on Xbox, you may find Gran Tourismo 7 a less inspiring alternative.

Alright, thanks for reading my review! Just kidding, it's not over yet. You know, I had my doubts about this one. Fans like me were waiting for Gran Turismo 7 since 2013, GT6 (which should have been a PS4 title). It takes awhile to download, but when the intro begins and it shows real footage of the automobile industry through the years, I got chills. For racing and auto enthusiasts like me, it was really nice to see.
Then the game begins. And there's this beautiful menu screen that is so well organized and put together, the story mode. The gameplay is nice, with decent handling of the cars. If you aren't playing with a wheel, you can turn on motion sensor control on your controller and use it like an actual steering wheel. There's this new thing called the Cafe' which I think is neat, it gives you "missions" to complete and afterwards you get rewards and unlock new tracks and stuff. For every race I've done so far I got a new car, something that hasn't been in the older games. You also get a decent credit reward for each race too. I was able to get a nice used Porsche for only 150,00 credits, a bargain within the first day of playing. Doing the missions, which are actually called Menu Books, unlocks history behind all the cars you collected.
The game itself is.. breathtaking. Its like an upgraded version of the previous installment, Gran Turismo Sport, but they took it and made a new life into it. The graphics are just astonishing and I'm using a PS4 system, and with a PS5 I can't tell what is real and what's not. The game once again captures the true magic of automobiles and racing which we all have come to love and adore with a passion. There are also new features where you can fully customize each car with a balanced menu with everything you need in the tune shop to enhance performance, and it describes each part perfectly and how they work. There is a GT Auto place where you can change oil, paint, make custom liveries and paint jobs with real life decals, everything. The used cars section is neat too, its organized to look like you are shopping online for a car. The detail is just insane. So much work and detail was put into this game. I love this game. Polyphony Digital, you've done it again. Thank you for bringing me closer to the passion I love the most: cars.

Gran Turismo 7 on PS5 is a fantastic racing game packed with a huge selection of authentic vehicles and detailed real-world raceways. The graphics and realism are top-notch, especially on a good TV, and the driving physics feel incredibly smooth and lifelike. I’ve had an absolute blast playing this with my father-in-law, who’s a big racing aficionado. He was genuinely impressed by the accuracy of the cars and tracks, and we’ve spent hours racing and tuning vehicles together. The DualSense controller adds another layer of immersion with its haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. There’s a great balance between realism and accessibility, making it fun for casual players and hardcore fans alike. The game also offers plenty of customization and progression to keep things interesting. This is a must-have for any racing fan on PS5.

Waited a while until a sale for this game and it's been great to test out my display's HDR capabilities. Passing the license tests is very addictive to try to shave off time and get the gold medals like previous games. Single player is more guided compared to previous titles but being able to download custom liveries and designs adds a lot that I was missing from the older games. Adaptive triggers are nice to help me out with my braking during races and the haptics feel great over the bumps in the road. Having a great time so far and it looks amazing, too!

When I first played this game, it was on a PS5 with a racing wheel and pedals that I had purchased to go with it. The experience compared to every other race car game I had ever played was amazing. It is so realistic that I am using this game to teach my children how to drive long before they are behind the wheel of a real car. But then I purchased a PSVR2 since I learned that this game supports it. All I can say is WOW! This game is so good in virtual reality, that it’s enough to justify purchasing a PSVR2 even if this is the only game you play with it. It’s the closest you will get to being in an actual race car without driving one in real life.

Gran Turismo 7 marks a triumphant return to form for the iconic racing series, offering a comprehensive and immersive experience for both veteran players and newcomers alike. Developed by Polyphony Digital, this installment combines stunning visuals, realistic physics, and a vast array of meticulously recreated cars and tracks.
Visually, Gran Turismo 7 is breathtaking, showcasing the power of the PlayStation 5 with lifelike car models, dynamic weather effects, and meticulously detailed environments. The attention to detail is unparalleled, with each car feeling distinct and handling realistically.
The game features a robust career mode that guides players through a series of racing events, allowing them to earn credits, unlock new cars, and upgrade their vehicles. Additionally, the online multiplayer mode offers thrilling competitive racing against players from around the world.
Gran Turismo 7 also introduces innovative features such as GT Café, where players can immerse themselves in the history of automotive culture, and GT Auto, a workshop where they can customize and tune their cars to perfection.
While the game excels in many areas, some players have noted occasional server issues and a steep learning curve for newcomers. However, these minor drawbacks do little to detract from the overall excellence of Gran Turismo 7, which stands as a must-have title for racing enthusiasts and PlayStation fans alike.

This is absolutely an incredible game. As a fan of the franchise, I'll admit that yes, there are fewer cars than GT6 had, but the quality in graphics, download speed, and realism make this game worth every penny. Yes, it's huge and the updates still take time even with the processing speed of the PS5, but once it is downloaded/updated and ready to play, the load screens are practically non-existent.

Gran Turismo 7 is one of those games that really shows what the PS5 is capable of. The graphics are stunning, the cars feel distinct, and the driving physics strike a great balance between realism and accessibility. Whether you’re casually racing or trying to improve lap times, it keeps you engaged and rewards practice without feeling overwhelming.

One of the best driving games right out of the box. Absolutely no jerkiness or skipping anywhere - fluid is the operative word.
PS5 controller is incredible, with steering set to angle of controller, it is super smooth and easy to control. Plenty of options for accelerator and brake - right stick was my choice. The feedback in the controller is impressive - running over curbs, can feel the rumble. The idea of sound from the controller is pretty unnecessary - starting beep is the only real sound from there.
Graphics are so darn impressive. Lots of details around the tracks, road detail is impressive (easy to see wet and dry track and worn in driving line). Cars can be customized in just about any way you can imagine (paint, wheels, spoilers, body kits), with go faster parts. And when on track or seeing that car anywhere, all those customized bits show up.
The whole cafe with menu cards is fun to learn driving, the game, collecting cars, and getting money to buy more cars and upgrade parts (the things that really do make a car go faster).
There's an amazing array of cars to choose from - Tesla Model S (2014 Signature Performance, including two colors only made for a very short time, green and brown) is even in there. Car detail is really well done. And they nail the car sound rather well - Tesla makes essentially no noise while running, just tire squeal. Although they got the torque curve and acceleration a bit off. But that's picking nits.
This is a really fine racing game. I guess if you get heavy into it, racing at the way higher end and on line, a wheel and pedals might be necessary. But so far - I'm 39 cafe menus into the game - I don't feel the need for a wheel.
There are a ton of things to adjust and tweak. In the beginning finding the right combination of controller assists is important, and then when to drop those assists as you get better at driving (there was even a point where the game told me to turn something off). Figuring out suspension tweaks has a very steep learning curve. The in game help screens are a bit confusing because the words don't translate exactly to a setting (the on line manual is a bit better at help).
A really fun driving game, at some gorgeous tracks (not as many iconic tracks as I would like - a lot missing from the US), with incredibly beautiful cars, that helps you along to finally getting a super license for FIA racing.

I haven't played since GT2 when I was a kid. Now as an adult, this game still amazes me. Graphics and game play is top-notch. Throw in a proper steering wheel and pedal set and I'm in heaven! Love this game!

Racecar spelt backwards is definitely what this game has to offer. From modding the vehicles to tearing up the town and racing each other this game is a blast from the past.

This game is amazingly fun. Though you do have to sit through a 20 minute movie before you're able to actually race (you can turn it off after you've seen it the first time though).

Gran turismo 7 is an excellent game. I love the racing against others across the world as well as tuning into championship/tournaments as well! This is an excellent racing sim and one that would work well with a racing rig for the ps5 or casual play with the ps5 controller. I recommend this game to everyone and anyone who loves racing!

I bought this game for $39 and love every moment of it! Also, I ordered G29 Driving Force Wheel and Sim Racing Wheel Stand Simulator Cockpit Wheel Stand Racing Steering Shifter Mount and can’t wait until it arrives to try it with GT7!!!
