Not much I can say that hasn't already been said. Single player is best that the series has had, with ability to play through as different characters at same time. Map is huge, with tons to discover above land and below. Multiplayer still feels lacking but they're patching in new things fairly regularly. Would highly recommend

This is the most fun I have had with a video game is years, rockstar always delivers. The graphics are amazing, story pulls you in and online is neat!

This is hands down the best gta yet. There's no reason not to get it. Rockstar really took there time to develop a great game. Now they need to get the online play up.

I have never actually played GTA before buying this edition of the game. I have really enjoyed the game play as well as the story line. Although not a game for young children, it is a lot of fun to play as a single player or online. The graphics in the game are amazing, and the cars/characters are more realistic than most games I've played. The game is a bit pricey at $60, it is worth it as it can be played even without the story line or online gaming. I recommend this game if you want something fun to play in your downtime or with friends online.

this is a very good game and i would tell all my friends to buy this game because its that good of a game and yeah i have this game but nothing to play it on so right now i have games but my ps3 is messed up.

It was one of the greatest games I have ever played. Awesome gameplay, great graphics, great soundtrack and wide array of activities are the highlights of GTA V. When it finished, I was sad it was over because you bond with the characters due to their great sense of humor and explosive personalities. It is a ridiculously fun game and you will want to play again. I would highly recommend for older teens+. 2013 had 3 gaming masterpieces, GTA V was one of them. It was definitely worth the $64.94 i paid.

I was not going to get this game at first. i changed my mind and bought before the holidays. I amazed immediately! now im wondering what would this game be like on the next gen consoles? and what would that blimp look like right now on my tv. this game has it all. the online story is great on many reasons. you can play as you want. you can live your "life" as if you were playing the story. this online multiplayer is a bit different and way better than gta 4. just think how this game would be if it had san francisco and esp las vegas??? i love going to the strip clubs, taking pics of everything as if i was really taking a pic of stuff in real life. you can share the pics over the internet on a real web site. you can see the movies in a theatre. you can basically live a real life on this game. go get this game and i promise you will be hooked on at least one or 2 facets of the game!

Overall the game is outstanding! By far the best GTA to date 5 stars all the way! But I feel Rockstar could've done more with the little things with the game because, whether you agree with me or not, the little things in GTA are what make the game different from other sandbox adventures. First off, why are not all planes flyable? You go to LS International and you can fly the private jet and the 747. How come you can't fly the 737?? Ok sure, how many times are you going to pick that plane but the option would be nice for whatever your reasons are (fun, getaway, etc.) It's another plane to fly in a series that BROUGHT BACK FLYING and you can only look at it! Same thing goes for TRAINS and TRAMS! Sure you can only control speed but it was always fun to hijack to get away or just hijack for fun and derail! It's a way to travel in a game where there's a lot of traveling!! You can drive a freight train for maybe 20 seconds in a mission with the view inside the cabin. I think train driving would be a great componont to add to free roam. Lastly, in a game where it's plot centers around robbery, the map should allow more access to buisnesses and buildings to rob! THAT"S THE POINT OF THE GAME ISN'T IT!? Ok you can rob the convience stores and a few other places but I'm talking about walking your character down the street and being able to walk into several building/buisnesses and being able to interact!! That being said, the game is awesome I'll recomment it to anyone! It is a HUGE improvment from GTA IV! Please rockstar send out updates to fix little things!!

Fun never stops with this one but a bit too violent for the kids.

This game is pretty awesome and addicting. My boyfriend and I cannot stop playing it. The missions are fun but doing side missions and just running around town doing random stuff is fun too. I like how they have three characters you can play now. I also like that you can do other thigns like go swimming, do triathalons, go for a bike ride, play tennis. There is an endless possibility of fun things to do.

LOVE THE GAME AND ALL THE NEW FEATURES!! THE 3 PLAYABLE CHARACTERS WHEN YOU WANT TO PLAY THEM IS GREAT. THE NEW CUSTOMIZATION OF VEHICLES AND WEAPONS IS FANTASTIC, IM SUPRISED WITH THE LEVEL OF DETAIL IN CUSTOMIZATION. BUYING PROPERTY IS AWESOME TOO!! THEY MADE ALOT MORE THINGS FOR US TO SPEND OUR MONEY ON. THE OPEN MAP IS MASSIVE AND HAS ALOT OF AREAS TO EXPLORE. THIS IS A MUST OWN TITLE!!!

I have played numerous video games in my lifetime. None of them stand up to this one. Large world, could play online for days on end and never grow bored of it, plenty missions to do...I could go on and on. Just stop reading the reviews and buy this game. You won't regret it if you like the GTA series.

This is definitely on the list of top GTA games. I have played them since the originals on computer where it was just a little 2-D car. I will say that I dislike the fact that online GTAV for PS3 can be lousy at times. Sometimes it takes minutes and even hours to get online and then you can get randomly disconnected. I attribute these issues to the focus for PS4 players . Once your on its pretty fun minus the hacks and exploiters. The single player game play is good but could be better if the story characters were all developed a little better. I was a little sad that Niko didn't make a appearance but only GTA fans will understand..

The storyline is great, the dialogue is one of the best in any game, and there are endless hours of gameplay. Easily top 3 if not 1 game made for current generation consoles.havent played the franchise in a while but this was super easy to get back into. It's clearly one of the best games ever breaking most entertainment records. Must have game!!

Look people who are touting this as perfect are riding the wave of hype. Yes it is a good game but it is far from perfect, there is hardly anything new here just a 3 character gimmick that is not as fresh as you'd think. Two of them are kind of boring, probably should have just stuck to the crazy guy honestly. In an age of games like Fallout that are truly open world where you can meaningfully impact the plot with your choices with linear storylines can be lack luster (unless they are really over the top) since non of your choices impact anything on the game, it's still go steal this, go kill that person stuff. Watch when people get over the hype they'll realize it wasn't that great. It introduces pointless things like the random in counters from Red Dead Redemption but not as well done or interesting. They introduce car modifications but if you think you are going to use the car you spent all your money on in the game you are mistaken, you will more often then not abandon the car for a mission that has to be done in some slow lemon to make it more challenging. You are then forced to leave your car which is at that point gone forever! Unless you leave in your garage and use it for no missions you can keep the car, and that's not fun. Games that don't get as much credit or hype like Saints row let you customize your vehicle and save it giving you access to your best car whenever. Without the ability to save your car, what point is there to make an enhanced vehicle if the game won't let you actually use it 75% or so of the time. Since there is no warning the only way to keep your car is to go over the mission brief, quit the mission, store your car in an often distant garage and then drive all the way back in a stolen car. Another nit pic is in the clothes store I have to go to all the different shelves to try something on, in gta san andreas you just walked to the dressing room and tried on all the stuff in the store saving time. Another small nit is the radio tuner only goes one way so if you miss the station you want you have to cycle again from the beginning since they made the right dpad button a secondary action button which it should have just be Right trigger+ X or whatever. Why don't they let you just make a custom station with stuff you want to hear or an mp3 player so you can walk and listen to music? Saints Row lets you make a customer station and shows you the entire cataloge to pick what you want and edit it on the fly. I hope in the future gta will make the stories more complex and actually have choices that impact the game. It is a good game but it shouldn't honestly be a contender for game of the year with pointless mechanics. If you don't play a lot of games then sure this game will be amazing to you probably. If you've played a lot of well made games and previous GTAs you know it's all hype. GTA san andreas and vice city are still my favorites in the series. There's a good game here but not a perfect one.

For all of you diehard GTA fans, I believe this game can be truly rewarding for anyone, who has purchased it or is thinking about purchasing it. GTAV has EVERYTHING that was desired, but lacking in the other GTA titles. Not to mention, it has a lot more. You owe it to yourself to purchase this game.

If you're a fan of previous GTA games, you definitely will not be disappointed with the latest installment. The amount of gameplay you get for your money is just absurd. I've been playing this game for months and still haven't completed everything. Definitely worth whatever price you pay for it.
