If your early teen is asking for this then don't buy it unless you're 100% sure they can handle it. Lots of violence, provocative situations and murder. This is NOT for kids or the immature. If your teen is mature or you are an adult, you'll love this game. It's a farce at all things wrong with society. Think of the TV show Fargo (based on the movie) mixed with a Tarantino twist with a large dose of heist movie and you'll be somewhat close. As the player you'll steal cars, rob banks, shoot a lot of people, smoke fat ones and visit the strip club. A Lot. Still, for all it's faults, it's a blast - it's fast action, it's in your face, it's hilarious. You'll enjoy it.

I don't think I have any complaints, pretty much bought a console for this game because I couldn't wait for the PC port. It looks stunning on my 4k TV. I also love how well this game utilizes the dual shock 4's features, such as the light bar, touch pad and built in speaker.

Great game with good gameplay, good story, and good value with multiplayer. And for a PS3 port, the PS4 version looks amazing at times compared to other PS4 titles.

I traded in my PS3 version of this game at Best Buy (what a value that was being a Gamers Club member!) and bought the PS4 version at a nicely discounted price. This game was meant to be on the next generation of consoles. It's been optimized so that the consoles can actually keep up with what's showing on the screen (framerate drop is very minimal if not nonexistent). The graphics are very clean and detailed. As far as the game's content... Well, it's a Grand Theft Auto game. It's definitely NOT FOR THE KIDS. There's an abundance of graphic violence, profanity, and suggestive themes (after all, the story's about the lives of 3 criminals). Despite the game's content having a very mature tone, the game's just flat out fun. Being able to play in a "sandbox" and going through the story at your own pace is great. Sometimes, just driving around listening to the awesome soundtrack through the radio or just going to the firing range is entertaining. For how many hours you'll invest into this game, the game essentially pays for itself. I liked GTA IV, but I think GTA V is just way more entertaining and fun. The combat is more fluid, the controls feel very solid, and I feel that the story element is more entertaining. This might be my favorite Grand Theft Auto game other than Vice City or San Andreas. If you're a fan of this series or open-world-style games and aren't easily offended, you won't regret getting this.

Enjoy all of the missions. I also like being able to just go wondering around and getting in trouble. Online play has been more fun now that I'm on a crew.

This has to be the best Grand Theft Auto game I've ever played & I've played them all. Rockstar went all out when they made this game, the story is so amazing and entertaining you don't want to stop playing it, and the open world of Los Santos is beautiful and full of so many things to see and do that you'll spend hours just driving around taking in the sights. If your a fan of the GTA Series then you won't be disappointed Grand Theft Auto V.

I have played every single GTA game ever. It's my favorite franchise of all time. Bought the game originally for the PS3 back on launch September 2013. Once the PS4 version was announced with updated graphics, visuals, technological advancements, improvements & new content. I knew I had to get it for the PS4 and I have not regretted buying this game once again. It is more beautiful than ever before. The story is still amazing, the online is still fun, exploring around Los Santos is amazing with the new visuals. Bring on the single player DLC & Online Heists.

The world in this game is large, and the environment is crazy and fun. Aside from the very enjoyable main story, there is a plethora of side missions and fun activities. I personally enjoy the flying challenges. While the multiplayer can get frustrating (trolls always trying to kill you :/), there are all sorts of car, motorcycle, bike, and plane missions worth exploring. I hear the heists are what it's all about, but without a full team, I never got around to that part of the multiplayer. Overall, this game has a lot to offer.

Wow this is the biggest gta game to date, so much to do, the world is so alive, so many missions and triple the stories, with three different playable characters, and that's just the beginning, with gta online you get to make your mark in this wonderful universe, the other people can get in your way, but you can even play in your own online playground, so if you don't like people killing you and stealing your money or ride, or just don't like people, you've got it made. So grab a ride and take to the streets!

Much better then Xbox 360 version. I had the 360 version and I couldn't stand the load times. I quit playing the 360 version shortly after picking it up. It took forever to do anything, even the simplest things like entering stores or changing clothes took a long time to load. The graphics and load times are much improved on this PS4 version. The only delay I experienced when the game had to install for the first time. Fantastic game. The gameplay is completely revamped and is more fluid than anything I've ever played. The ps4 version graphics blow away the ps3 version graphics. In general a fantastic game. The characters were pretty solid, the main characters anyway. Trevor is by far the most entertaining of the three with his general wackiness and psychopathic tendencies. Depending on your tastes, the events and dialogue centered around him are incredibly humorous and never fail to make me laugh. The graphics and driving are so much smoother than on the PS3, making the driving sometimes sensitive if you're used to the rough turns on its predecessor. This game is a blast and a must buy!

If you're a first time buyer, then this is, without doubt, the version to buy. Compared to the last-gen versions, the graphics are updated, the first person mode is added, and the online play has an expanded player count. If you already owned GTA V, then it is really up to you whether it is worth it to upgrade. But the game is definitely chalk full of stuff to do, and will keep you entertained for countless hours. Whether its mindlessly running from the cops, or running heist to make big money!

Grand Theft Auto V isn't ground breaking in anyway from its predecessors but Rockstar continues to make amazing open world games and this one is no different. It's everything you like in a GTA game crammed into one. Want to use that AK-47 but keep your military assault rifle? Sure just pull up the wheel. Getting tired of playing as Michael? Switch to Trevor! Or Franklin. There is something for everyone in this game but if previous GTA games weren't your cup of tie then it's probably best to stay away.

While the GTA series may be controversial with its content, there is no denying the reach it has had on the gaming industry. The game play formula built and refined over several generations of games is in top form here. Graphics on the next gen hardware is stellar -- from a purely technical standpoint this game is incredible. The characters (there are three main characters in this iteration) and story are full of depth, nuance, and detail. Highly recommend this game.

Amazing game that allows you to do anything and everything in a huge open world. The added first person mode really seals the deal in the next gen version. This is the best sandbox/open world game ever created!!! Play it now! Just wish the violent language wasn't so bad. It is a video game after all... Do we really need the over the top language? Game would be perfect even if it took the violence down a notch... Still an amazing game. Big props to Rockstar games!!!!

Grand Theft Auto V is my choice for the best game ever; and the new and improved version on the PlayStation 4 is the best way to experience this excellent game. If you have not played Grand Theft Auto V before you need to because there is so much to do in this game. Grand Theft Auto V will let you do anything you have ever wanted to do in a video game and more so just buy this game and see for yourself because it is worth every penny!!!

Summary and reviews all around say it all - this is the best iteration of GTA to date. The graphical bump from previous gen consoles to next is VERY noticeable as well are the added features - PC version even more so given 60FPS, further graphical options and of course mods. No matter which version you pickup though - the story and how the characters tie together though are so well done - it's like playing a movie - in the best possible way.

It looks way better than the PS3 version by far, but some of the controls have changed, like shooting while driving is two buttons instead of one ( same as if you were on foot ). Also, I am going to miss some of the camera phone color filters ( I didn't see any of the ones available in the PS3 version ). Overall the game is a lot harder with the AI traffic constantly cutting you off while traveling to missions, around town, gun battles, etc. I would say the biggest bonus is that Rockstar continues to support new game modes/heists, so that keeps the game "fresh". All in all it still is a smash hit and a huge compliment to the series. I will be looking forward to GTA6, that is, if they develop one.

Game offers endless game play. San Andreas is huge and very detailed. New content is added with every update for free. Tons of missions and races. Online cash is easy to come by but weapons, clothes and cars are expensive.

I've played and beat every Grand Theft Auto put out on the Playstation consoles. Every iteration is an improvement on its predecessor. They never seem to run out of fuel when it comes to new innovative new ideas. GTAV is no exception. This game is the complete package, gameplay, graphics, story, it has it all. A must-own on any system.

Played Grand Theft Auto V on my Playstation 4 for the single player, and it was just as I expected from Rockstar. A top tier game with excellent graphics and excellent story. If I had a complaint, it would be that the story was too short. Not destiny short mind you, it still took me a while to finish, but I felt there could be more missions to complete! But in the end, it was a very satisfying game. Two thumbs up!
