Ok movie with good footage. Not spellbinding but good

This movie failed to wow us...slow moving, seemed a little hokey, kind of predictable except for the ending, which the entire family hated. We usually like Sandra Bullock movies, but this DVD definitely won't be replayed as often as some of her other movies we own!

I thought the movie was going to be great being that it won all sorts of awards, but it really didn't live up to all the hype. It was a great plot idea and acting, but I felt like it was a bit rushed. I also was left wanting more, especially with the ending.

Ok to watch, but not a movie I'd watch a second time.

The movie was okay. It was what I expected it to be.

Gravity breaks ground cinematically, creating an amazing sense of immediacy and even intimacy. While the film should ideally be seen on the big screen, it survives the downsizing to Blu-ray. (I recently had a friend who had not previously seen Gravity over to watch the Blu-ray, and he was blown away by the movie.) That said, if I had to do it over again, I would have purchased the HD copy of Gravity from iTunes, as I really wanted a digital copy, and Ultraviolet is just awful since you have to view it on Flixter. I futzed around with it for a bit and then abandoned it. The Blu-ray is, of course, great, but this is the last time I will purchase Blu-ray with the false promise of a "digital copy" if that means Ultraviolet.

Enjoyable movie but disappointed by lack of action

You have an active 3D tv then this is a must buy..

Bought this because a friend wanted to see it in 3D. 3D, average. Beginning of the film is great and after the first suspenseful scene it goes down from there. Like too many action and sci-fi movies there is too much creative license to make this story believable, possible. The character goes through a terribly written and/or directed metamorphosis where she doesn't resemble the character first met in the movie and it's almost instantaneous. I figured there must be some artistic, poetic message buried in the movie and from what I've been told there and if that's the case it's good idea, poor execution. It's like someone had an idea used Apollo 13, Aliens, and any number of global warfare movies to sell it.

I had greater hopes for this ... it was no where near the caliber of Interstellar. Thought Clooney would have a bigger role and while Sandra Bullock does a good job, she's just not a strong enough actress for such a "solo" performance.
