Having this game coming to the PS4 was a good move. The updated visuals puts you more into the game vs the original. Still the same great story and game play. It's worth getting especially at the current price.

Let me start by saying I loved the original Gravity rush on the PS Vita so I was excited when I heard a sequel was announced even though it wasn't coming to the Vita (I already knew why lol). The game is an open world Japanese art style game about a girl named Kat who has the power to shift gravity along with her faithful partner Dusty (an actual cat) and Raven another girl with her own unique ability's. Both girls must work together to stop a corrupt military from taking over their town. Great graphics along with nice powers to use and even motion controls that work very well. I definitely recommend this game along with Gravity Rush remastered (updated version of the PS Vita version for ps4) to any ps4 owner.

Gravity Rush 2 is really good, but doesn't bring many new elements with it. It is a direct sequel that plays very much like the original. The fact that it was designed with a controller in mind it is a tighter feeling experience. The camera issues are still present, but much easier to handle with a Dualshock 4.

I really enjoyed Gravity Rush Remastered last year, and GR2 has greatly exceeded all expectations. The world is huge, controls are improved, visuals are fantastic, and the variety of missions has improved

Ever since I first bought my PS Vita and played Gravity Rush all the way through, i've been all for a continuation of the series. Finally it's here, and after playing through a good 20 hours or so, I got to admit it's a very good game, but just kind of a decent sequel. Sure, there's a good amount of new in it, but it really just feels like more of the first game. The gameplay is fantastic, flying around is soothing and combat is so incredibly flashy and anime-feeling that I never felt bored. The story is just kind of okay, it doesn't have much to do with the first one, it feels like it's own tame beast. Side missions are mostly good, a lot of them involve talking to one person and then flying to the next location talking to another person. The side mission plot lines are very concise and enjoyable though. Overall, it's a great game. If you enjoyed the first and just want more of that it's great, if you enjoyed the first and wanted a fresh sequel with never ending improvements then maybe buy this at a discount.

This games offers a great story with lots of missions in a very richly detailed open world. I enjoy the "cell-shading" type of drawings and the comic character style interaction when characters talk to each other. It is different from most games. This games has a suite of challenge missions in which you can compete against ghosts, and there are mining loot runs in which you face poor odds for rich rewards. I like the floating/flying actions of trying to collect gems that increase your ability to level up. Some may describe this as a treasure hunting game, which it is to a certain extend; but there is so much more. Definitely a fun way to spend a weekend.

The sequel to the 2012 Vita game Gravity Rush, Gravity Rush 2 takes place an undetermined but relatively short time after the events of the first game. However, it takes place in an entirely new region. New players may be a bit confused as to who the old characters are, but the game does a decent job of establishing the important bits throughout. For old players, it's great to see the old crew again and to see them in a new storyline. Gameplay is that of a 3d platformer mixed with hack&slash and TPS elements mixed in. The real draw, however, is the unique Gravity mechanic that enables Kat to shift the way gravity works, changing up to down and left to right at a whim. The game handles incredibly well and the amount of overall freedom the game gives throughout is leagues above the first game. It's also incredibly gorgeous, artistically.

It is a shame that Gravity Rush does not get more attention. This series had the misfortune of making its debut on the failed PS Vita, but this is easily one of the best series available on the PS4. The first game is remastered and available on the PS4, but this game is a beautiful followup and makes many improvements over the first. The visuals and music are gorgeous and flying through the air manipulating gravity is an incredibly fun experience. This is a sadly underrated gem, but is absolutely a must have for any PS4 owner.

I've played the first game on my Vita quite a bit and enjoyed it a lot. This game is just as fun with wonderful music and graphics. If you're looking for a nice change of pace from Call of Duty, etc, this is a fun game.
