The BBC has cornered the market on the Nature documentaries in recent years and this is no exception. Looks and sounds wonderful. It is a little short by comparison to some of their other releases, but, as long as you get it on sale (I paid very little for it), it is well worth the price of admission. In this day and age of trying to find something to watch with the kids that interests both parties, I highly recommend this and other BBC nature documentaries.

Outstanding visual cinematography. Like being in the ocean without getting wet. I liked the narration, including the underwater real time explanations of what was going on. If you have any kind of appreciation of the ocean, you will most probably really enjoy this. There is enough variety that prevents boredom from ever setting in.

If you love under water photography this one documentary about the reefs is a must see. It really comes to life if you can enjoy this movie on a BIG screen TV since it will truly come to it's fullest potential. The colors are very nice and considering Best Buy's price for this blue ray disc when it was on sale, this is something to be checked out for sure by any one who loves these type of documentaries..

I always look forward to spectacular looking blu rays of nature as the great barriet reef is a perfect natural phenomwna to get this treatment by filmmakers. The dhots are wonderful and the narration is goos as well. A worthy purchase for nature lovers.

Amazing footage and almost unbelievable picture quality are the best features of this video. A great family viewing experience that is both educational and interesting for all ages. You can't go wrong with BBC Nature.

Yes, Im a water nut and wish I knew how to scuba dive. I settle for surfing on top of the water. But right now this movie lets me experience whats below. If you have an HDTV even better

The video has three separate programs showing life on the reef, deeper water around the reef, and land behind the reef. It is especially interesting to people who snorkel or SCUBA.

This was wonderful to watch in HD. Loved the part about the turtles and the struggles to just stay alive. Hopefully the reef will continue to be around for many years to come.

We are SCUBA divers and love the ocean & marine life. This was very interesting & entertaining and the next best thing to being in the ocean. However it got my SCUBA bug energized & now I'm really wanting to go SCUBA diving. I've been land bound way too long!!

I got this movie as part of a project for my kids and not only did they enjoy it but I loved it too. Great information and exposure to other parts of the world and makes a person want to take a trip to visit there!

My Lil guy loves this blue Ray not only is it informational but great picture and lots of fishes which my son loves.
