The battery is most of the weight, but it's not bad at all and helps offset the sheer power of the blower, which needs some heft to counter the insane amount of airflow it puts out. Best leaf blower, gas or electric, I've ever used. I seem to have better battery life than other reviewers, but I also keep the battery fully charged. I get about 30-45 minutes of normal use and 20 minutes of heavy use ("Turbo") with a 45 minute recharge time. Absolutely love this thing.

And an hour and twenty min. to charge. Did order a second battery. That will be here tomorrow. Will be needing it! Have not used the turbo yet. Battery won't last long using turbo. Did take care of the pine needles in the paved drive way.
