The case provides great protection and yet it keeps a slim design. However the protection does comes with a price. While protective and slim it still adds side bulk, this means that if the iPhone 7 Plus it’s quute large for you but you can still manage to hold it with just a hand, this case makes one hand use highly impossible for those with small to medium hand size. I only recommend it if you are ok with using the iPhone 7 Plus with both hands. Protection it’s grear and esteticly it’s great.

This case isn’t too bad and does come with a belt case holder. And a permanent screen protector. The downside of the screen protector is that it sits away from screen in some places. Also dust and debris get behind the screen protector easily. There are a few places on the case that the rubber is peeling off the case and it’s only 2 weeks old. This could be an isolated incident or a widespread problem. The case is ok, but not sure it’s worth $30 given the issues I have had.

Just got a new iPhone 7plus. Needed a quick case to protect it. I have the (Product)Red iPhone and l want to show it off. This case states that it's clear on the back. However, the back is not very clear, hard to tell the color of the phone with the exception of around the camera since there's no protection there. There are pads on the speaker and mic openings that I had to remove because it severely muffled the person I was talking to and muffled my voice for them. The housing looks durable. Have not dropped it yet. The screen protector is annoying because it doesn't lay flat on the screen so the protector actually interferes with app usage and daily texts/calls. Not a fan of the flimsy plastic screen protectors. They scratch easy and don't provide much protection. I ordered a crystal clear case and tempered glass for the screen so the Griffin case will get junked when I get those.

This case was a gift for a new iPhone. It fits just fine and works great. The choice was between this and an Otterbox Defender. The Otterbox was twice a thick and felt heavier. The level of protection on this case is not a much but it is sufficient for the lighter carrying. Also, it is thin enough that I can use the case with the phone for wireless charging. This something you cannnot do with the Defender because it is too thick. Part of the purpose for moving from the iPhone 6S Plus to the 8 Plus was for the wireless charging ability alone. Great choice.

Great protection very easy to handle and carefullo

I have owned several cases for my iPhone. I like this one the best. It fits the phone perfectly and is the smallest for the level of protection, that I have found. All at half the price of other brand names.

The case seems a little thinner than the otterbox defender phone has dropped case and phone not damaged, holster does fall off belt often

Pro’s: Light weight and Skinny! Con’s: Can’t use on speaker phone unless you remove insulation from all speaker & mic cavities. Also must remove button from phone case to use the silent on & off button. Woulda thought more R&D would have been completed prior to putting on the market?

I have always insisted my teenager use an Otterbox Defender on all her phones. When we upgraded her from a Samsung Galaxy S6 to an iPhone 7 Plus she could not find an Otterbox she liked. Based on 2 different sales reps recommendation (at 2 different visits) we purchased the Griffin Extreme. I was very concerned because it does not look or feel as sturdy as the Otterbox but my daughter was thrilled because it feels smaller. She has already dropped it a couple of times (that I know of) and so it has provided excellent protection. I am still trying to decide if I should punch out the screen protector built into the case. I prefer the glass screen protectors but so far it has been an excellent case!

This case is tough without looking or feeling like the Sherman Tank it is. Fits well into a phone holder and easy to operate the phone with an additional screen protector on the phone.

I really love the look and feel of this case! Only downfall: people can't hear you when you have them on speaker phone.

I would recommend this for people who drop their phones a lot. I am one of those and this case is a good investment.

I loved my old Speck case, which survived many drops and falls, but it was starting to get worn and I decided to go for something more substantial. This case is definitely hardcore, with a thick, strong outer rim and integrated screen protector. I am satisfied with it, but it does have a few drawbacks compared to my old case: The thick bottom edge means it will not sit on my dock. I have to either plug it in with a wire, or remove the case. Removing the case takes some practice and some pressure. If you care about your fingernails (or don't have any), you'll need something to pop the edge with. Once you unlatch the edge though, it slides apart really easily. My second complaint is the way that the plastic affects the sound quality. The iPhone's speakers are certainly nothing to write home about on their own, but when you put a thin piece of plastic over them it can reduce their range and, more annoyingly, can introduce a buzzing as the plastic vibrates at certain frequencies. Overall, if you're looking for serious protection and don't mind the above issues, this one is a good choice.

Heavy duty case that offers good protection. The plastic that covers the charge port fell off after a month though.
