Good Service there!!

Posted .This particular case is made for the original iPad Air, so unfortunately it does not fit the iPad Air 2 correctly. The iPad Air 2 is slightly thinner, which will result in some issues if you try to fit the earlier case on your device. LifeProof has not come out with a case for the Air 2 so the sales rep advised that I try the Griffin. Stupid me for buying this case. First of all, the installation instructions are inside the sealed case in the packaging so you have to know how to open the case in order to get the instructions out; however, most of these types of cases have a particular way in which they have to be opened in order make sure you don't mess up the functioning of the case. Don't worry, there is nothing to mess up with this case, it stinks. I finally wrestled it open, took out the instructions, followed them, and got the cover sealed back up as directed. Well, none of the volume or on/off switches or ports were lined up properly. The Volume Up button was pushed constantly by the case so even if I managed to find the Volume Down button and turn it down- right back up it went!!. The camera was partially covered by the edge of the case. The screen protector/cover did not fit closely with the iPad screen- there were a couple of wrinkles in the protector and a significant space between the screen protector and the screen. So you have to push through the screen protector to get it into contact with the touch screen itself. Is this some new form of haptic feedback- an undocumented feature? Meanwhile the volume keeps turning itself up to 11! Understanding my own fallibility with instructions I took the iPad out (extremely difficult, especially if you try to follow the instructions provided-useless) and put it in again- very carefully this time- making every effort to line up buttons, ports, camera, etc. SAME RESULT!!! Do yourself a favor and don't buy this piece of junk. Poor quality materials, poor instructions printed in a font so small you need a magnifying glass to read it. AND, IT DOESN'T WORK!!!. I wouldn't recommend this to an enemy. I can't believe I have to burn the gas that I paid for to return this pre-trash.
