If there was ever a film that depended on its lead performer, Groundhog Day would be it. While he gets a great assist from the supporting cast, Bill Murray's acting in this film is a master class. Not getting nominated for Best Actor Academy Award is a total shame, much like Val Kilmer getting shafted for Tombstone.

'Groundhog Day' is not only a perfectly lovely romantic comedy, but it's the rare Hollywood film that has something meaningful and perceptive to say about our humanity amid the passing of time. This Blu-ray is quite nice, too, with good video and audio, and a host of extras and exclusives.fun to watch and watch again.

This remastered version is as good as it gets, Bill Murray is at his best in this zany repetitive day film. Even though you see the same day over and over it never gets tired the entire cast brings each day in the life and the remastering was done flawlessly I consider this a must add to your collection.

Sony seems to be mostly hitting their UHD Blu-ray releases out of the park with very filmic transfers that the other studios can't seem to match right now. There's also an effective Dolby Atmos remix included. You can relive Phil's day over and over and over again in 3D audio!

If you're a fan of this film and want to see what a really good 4K FILM transfer looks like, this title is a sure win. No demo-worthy soundtrack or super-exciting visuals but just a really pleasant-looking, detailed film image. Great way to watch a great film.

Since the original release of this film a decade ago it has been a favorite. A mostly well done comedy with some romance. A fun film to watch again and again. Blue ray quality makes for excellent theater like viewing. And of course a terrific value as priced.

Maybe the best romantic comedy of all time (and yes, by definition, it is a romantic comedy and that's ok...) looks even better in 4k. All of the extras are carried over from the previous anniversary bluray so may not be worth the double dip for casual fans.

Such a fantastic movie! Amazingly it plays on the Sony 700 4K Player that picks and chooses the movies it wants to play.

This is one of my favorite movies and its never looked better. If you love this movie the 4k remaster is the way to see it!

Classic Bill Murray film where he has to relive ground hogs day again and again and again til he gets it right

PRE ordered this classic as soon as found out it being re released. It's now in 4k quality. Still a totally awesome movie with an awesome viewing quality. It also come with a digital HD code for streaming on the go if you like.

Really enjoyed this movie as a kid and every time I see it again I like it more and more. Great performances and story, well shot and directed. Fun movie with a love story plot that isn't totally awful. Funny and thoughtful.

An interesting Sci-Fi/Fantasy Comedy. Bill Murray definitely shines in this movie as character trying to find his way in a mid-life crisis, but getting a chance to start over each day, which happens to be Groundhog Day.

I love this movie! One of my all time favorites. Bill Murray is very funny and the story is highly entertaining. This movie is very rewatchable. The 4k picture is also very good. Bought it on sale for $20, so a great deal.

This movie is a must for every Groundhog Day! It is Bill Murray at his best. And of course love wins out in the end and the egocentric weather man becomes a decent human being. Many of the characters in the movie are truly memorable.

This was Best Buy's Deal of The Day on Groundhog Day. I love this movie. There are so many funny lines and Bill Murray is hilarious. The Blu-Ray picture is excellent. If you can find it on sale, then don't hesitate to pick this up.

I find myself always watching this movie when it's on TV, so when I saw it was on sale for such a great price, I had to buy it. The picture is crisp, the sound mix is good, and the extras are good. No complaints here.

What's not to love about this movie? A Bill Murray classic. After the holidays are over and you are done with the christmas movies...it's time for Groundhog Day! It was time to upgrade my dvd...the 4k looks awesome!!

Watching this in 4k was actually my first viewing for this movie, and it was completely worth the wait. Sony is the king of 4k transfers, and this one looks gorgeous and very filmic. A must buy for this classic.
