The price is great for 2,000 gems for my game. I like the gem cards so I can trade for weapons, armor and a lot of other things Thanks Best Buy for stocking these cards :)

Easy to use as there are other denominations and easy to purchase as a gift as well.

Easy to use. Bought it at Best buy, came home and entered in the black lion company tab. Did not have to use my personal credit card information to get the gems I needed.

One of the easier cards to use for a video game. Can enter information while in game which is fantastic. One card I had some difficulty installing due to an update in game. The customer service team were very responsive and resolved the issue almost immediately.

I had just started playing GW2 and wanted to buy some gems but was unsure if I wanted to share my card information. These gem cards came in handy, but at the time I had gotten them from my local Best Buy store, which now rarely carries these cards :( There great cards too if you're a parent and want to reward your or allowance your child in-game currency for the gem store within Guild Wars 2. However, it is also good if you are the type of person that over spends on games, because this way it helps prevent how much you can ultimately buy. I mean, at $15 USD (United States Dollars) for this card, you will get exactly the $15 USD in gems, but if you wanted to buy some things that totaled to more than $15 USD then you'll need to buy multiple of these cards.

Best buy is the only retail store that sells these gem cards. Which is good so you don't have to use a credit card to make purchases in game. My only complaint would be is that you can't get the codes digitally.

The scratch off section felt a little harder to scratch off than most scratchers, minus 1 star for this. The card itself is on the thinner side as opposed to more durable cards offered by bestbuy, minus another star. I felt like it was too large to fit in my wallet, yet too small compared to holiday cards, very inconvenient and minus a third star. But at the end of the day, none of the above matters because it's just a gem card and it works, back to 5 stars.

Know someone who plays Guild Wars 2? Or are you in need of gems yet don't have a credit card? This is an excellent way of getting gems for yourself or for someone else. Gems are in-game currency used to purchase tangible items from the game's store, which can be visual enhancements to armors or weapons, in-game toys, or personal upgrades to the account. Good for gifting. Even better for yourself if you can pay for less by any means possible.

Having these available for instore purchase is a huge win. Allows the ability to support the developers without having to give credit card information online should one choose not to! Product functioned directly as advertised and was a pain free and easy experience.

Excellent and easy to use and works well with the two games in all ways

I used my Best Buy Rewards to get this gem card. The card arrived pretty quickly and the code worked. The cost for the gems is the same whether you buy them in game from ArenaNet or from vendors such as Best Buy - $1 per 80 gems. What I like about buying through Best Buy and other vendors is I can use my rewards to pay for the cards. I've purchased at least 8000 gems this way. I love Guild Wars 2 because there is no subscription fee after the initial game or expansion purchase. I can choose whether or not to spend $$ in this game unlike a few others where you are forced to pay a monthly subscription. This game has held my interest for the past several years due to the variety of content. The various stories are interesting (Personal, Heart of Thorns, Path of Fire, etc.) and the various game modes are fun and challenging (dungeons, raids, PvP, Fractals, WvW). I especially love playing World vs World (WvW).

A great alternative to use if you don't want to use your credit/debit card on the web, through the game. Also great if you just want to gift someone and don't have the game, yourself, or just don't want to bother attempting to gift someone, in game, and risk getting their name wrong.

I recommend buying gems to each and every person who decides to play Guild Wars 2. While many people are staunchly against spending money on a game when you aren't required to Guild Wars 2 releases free expansions and updates regularly and charges nothing for their incredible game past the initial purchase. They operate entirely on micro-transactions made in-game using their purchasable "gem" currency. Though you can actually earn gems without buying them it expedites your experience with the game by giving exclusive items or just lots of money to play around with. The game is far from "pay-to-win" but if you genuinely love guild wars 2 it becomes less about your own advancement and more about providing a great company with the means to enhance an already excellent game.
