Only complaint I would have is it needs an update, because it can be a little buggy sometimes. Mostly when I’m connecting the guitar on start-up. Other than that it’s a sweet game!

Bought this game to use with the new AppleTV. It works well and the controller pairs easily, but there are a couple of complaints. First - the new format is kind of strange. If you remember the old Guitar Hero games, there were 5 colored keys on the guitar. With the new version there are "high and low" keys and you have to press the right ones based on an up or down note that comes across on the screen. It is a bit confusing and I understand they were probably trying to make the game "new," but it was a little frustrating. The new "live" videos are nice because you don't have to look at cartoon characters while you play and it makes you seem like you are actually on stage, so that is nice. The biggest complaint I have with the iOS version is that your game only saves when you are signed in with your iTunes / Game Center account. If you have multiple people who play this game, it becomes a big pain to navigate to the AppleTV settings menu, log out of the account, and login to the new one (it also does not store passwords, so you have that to deal with each time). I wish that the game itself would let you login with your credentials once and then select who is playing for that session. This is a huge down-side to this version. I would say to skip the iOS version and get it on a console instead.

Having a blast with guitar hero. Gameplay is fun, yet challenging for this 50yr old. I have even found some new bands I enjoy that I probably would not have found any other way. Quality and connectivity to iPad pro have been smooth with no issues.

Playing this with my son and both of us found the buttons too clicky, as well as the strum bar. The original guitar for this game seemed much better when it was simpler. Bluetooth connectivity is unreliable, with connections sometimes dropping out in the middle of songs. For $20 though, I would say we got our money's worth.

I purchased this because my wife and I loved playing Rock Band and Guitar Hero on Nintendo Wii years ago, and we were excited to try it again. The game started out ok, but now every time we try to play, the screen only shows a portion of the image. I think it has something to do with the adapter you need to use from your phone to an HDMI cable to your TV. We'll keep trying because we love playing and I hope it works itself out.

We’ve had the original guitar hero games with PlayStation and we had lots of fun with it. This one works with our Apple TV and iPhones. Set up was easy and never lost connection. There were songs to strum to online and offline. Good music selection. Can be adjusted from basic to expert level. Good game.

Love this. It's much like the Xbox or ps version. I play it on my iPad. You can also play it on your phone. Fun game for music lovers !

This is great to have a digital version on all iDevices, but GHTV doesn't work and there is no real solution. Great potential, but still bugs in the software.

Bought this for our niece who doesn't own a gaming console but does have iOS devices. Wasn't difficult to setup and has given her hours of endless enjoyment.

Kids love Live feature. They are playing more and more to unlock more songs. Also they like that GHL is adding more songs often.

The guitar and playing options along with authentic live video for performing make this game experience better than ever.

Not the best connectivity, but overall a fun experience

It really is easy to setup and fun to take on trips, makes the trips we take a little fun when it is raining outside

can't connect my iphone to the guitar, followed instructions but didn't work, i have to try with my ipad

The guitar design change isn't my favorite, but I guess they had to make the game more challenging.

Guitar Hero iOS is fun. It really needs multi-player capability though.
