Customers are saying

Customers are enthusiastic about the fun gameplay and great song selection in Guitar Hero Live: Supreme Party Edition. Many appreciate the ease of use and the inclusion of two guitars, making it perfect for group play. However, some found the game's difficulty and the redesigned guitar buttons challenging to adapt to. The new controller layout presented a learning curve for some players accustomed to previous versions.

Love this game, haven't stopped playing it since I bought, and the new 6 button guitar really kicks it up a notch, almost like playing for the first time again. Buy it buy it buy it.

This game is pretty fun. I have played a bit and there is a learning curve but it is okay for adults and older children.

Love this game. Its a bunch of fun and i love the new format of how the keys are on the fretboard. I went to the register with a price match from amazon, which they at first would NOT honor because it was a "Prime Only Price." Then I found Toys R Us with the same price.. then they were debating if they could match it if the nearby store only had "limited stock." Eventually after they looked at my account and how much i have spent with Best Buy they honored it. Thank you so much to Dave at the Eatontown Store who was very easy to work with as a manager and did not disappoint.

Bought this as a gift and it’s super fun to play. Gave it 4 starts instead of 5 because the song selection wasn’t as big and I’d liked it to be.

For classic Guitar Heroes, this new entry in the series switches things up with two rows, forcing you to forget what you know about GH chart reading and start anew. As a confirmed Expert player in previous titles, I had to begin in the second easiest mode and work my way up. You'll find new ways to strain your fingers, messing up at the start and eventually figuring out what works. Highly recommended for veterans of these games looking for something different.

Loved the original 3 versions of this game. Played them for hours and hours. For this newest installment, they've changed the format in a way that doesn't agree with my nostalgia. In a departure from the user-friendly 5 button, color coordinated layout, they have updated to a more realistic, fret-style 6 button system. There's two sets of three, stacked on top of each other allowing for chord like play. Gives you the feel of playing real guitar, without actually being able to learn anything. It's real strings away from Rocksmith. These games have never had a middle ground for difficulty and this is no different. The medium setting doesn't quite match with the beat and the hard setting thrusts you into matching notes and crazy fast, cramp inducing fingering (giggity). I dunno, I get what they're doing but it just isn't my cup of tea. Would like to get back to playability instead of realism. That being said, the playlist is incredible. Won't go into too much detail, you can read it on the product description.

My boyfriend got me this game for Christmas and it is probably one of the best gifts i got, ive caught myself spending hours playing . The new buttons are definitely going to take some time to get used to, I honestly do miss the colorful buttons on the old guitar hero, if anyone is considering getting it I definitely recommend it

1st time I've played one of these games. I got it for my son as a Christmas gift. The default set up was too hard for him so I had to play it some myself to figure out how it works. Overall it's pretty good but it would be nice if they had more songs loaded. I don't really like the live part just playing songs that are loaded.

Missing the old school vibe to it where there were 5 buttons and a kid could play it. The game is great but you have to get the hang of the timing and switching between top row frets and bottom row. It does have more of a real feel to it but some people like myself prefer the old game feel to it. By colors.

The game set was great, unfortunately my sibling I bought it for received it from someone else for his birthday. None the less, I played it with him and it was a great game for the buy. I wouldn't buy it again in the future though. A lot more difficult than the previous Guitar Hero/Rock Band games.

Fun game, my grandson loves it. The last GH game I played was on a PS2 about 10 or so years ago, now we play on the Xbox 1, much harder than I remember but very addictive and the 8 yr old grandson can't beat me yet so it's still fun.....at least for a few more weeks, then he'll be the guitar hero .
