Song List is Great...Few Issues I Didn't Like

It also takes alot longer to load than the other other GH games...and you have to click through a lot more screens to get to the songs. They changed Career Mode so that you have to play an entire set all at once to move on to the next one. You can't choose to play 3 out 4 songs anymore. In Quick Play mode... you can't type your name in the high scores like you can with Legends of Rock and Aerosmith. Also, it doesn't show the high scores by the names of the songs. Also, I didn't know they updated the guitar and I just bought the game because I didn't think I needed another one...but there are new features on this game's guitar so just be aware of that...but I can still play everything fine on the guitar I have. They do have a good song list though. For me, it was very hard to tell when I had Star Power because the typeset is small and its the same for # of notes hit and star power. I found that if I was playing the guiter straight up it would automatically go to star power. And...on the side of the on screen guitar where it shows points, notes hit, and stars etc...it is way to small on screen to see it with out taking your eyes off the notes...I didn't like that...at least with the 2 previous games you can see everything with your peripheral vision. Over all it is a decent game to play and is alot of fun.

Fun Game To Play

Fun game to play. Lots of different genres to play. Pretty good graphics also. One note to make. If your game will not load, try cleaning the lens in the console with a dab of rubbing alcohol on a q-tip, then wipe with the dry end of q-tip. My game would not load at first, I found this tip online and the next time I tried it, the game fired right up! So before you get frustrated and try to return the game, try this first to see if it works. I have a ps2 slimline.

Best rock game of the year!

This is definitely the best rock game of the year. It beats Rock Band 2 out of the water. The only problem is the PS2 version.. the graphics aren't all that, and the loading time bites the big one, but everything else is really good. I would recommend the XBOX 360 version for everyone who doesn't have this already. I recommend that version, because of the online play and downloadable content (which makes the game much more fun).

In two days I've found this game to be as addicting as the rest of lot. Great song selection, hidden objects to find, and I can't wate to be able to knock out the hard mode in one try each.
The load time is kind of a drag but I guess it's from all the new info it has to upload. Oh well

Guitar Hero World Tour brings all the good stuff from the other GH games and combines them into one amazing game. They even added more things on so you never are left without something new to try.

does not load on new PS2

my parents bought this for me for my birthday this year. and we bought it from best buy. we went to put the game in, and the system wouldnt load the disk. we have the sleek PS2 model. so, we took the game back, and exchanged it for another. we took that one home, and it doesnt read either. we've tried numerous things to get it to work, and after over two months, it has NOT worked. i was very disappointed because it wouldn't work, and it was for my birthday.
my sister took it over to her friends house. her friend has the old PS2 model, and the game worked just fine there. this makes no sense because i read reviews with people saying the old model doesnt work, and the new one does. which i don't understand. it ruined my birthday, and it's something i won't forget any time soon.
