When you start this show, it feels like a big joke. It really seems ridiculous, but after about 10 minutes into the first episode, it takes an excellent turn for the better and the show keeps climbing and climbing in excitement. The characters are all original and loveable. The plot is incredible. This one is the first season and contains the entire 1st plot as i'd like to call it and then it shows a few episodes that lead to a very big twist that'll make you wonder how you ever got along without watching this show. I'd really reccomend buying all three seasons, because when you finish season 1, it will have finished the 1st plot and started the second. Then, when you finish the 2nd season, the 2nd plot would have been finished and you think the show is over until the screen says "To Be continued. . . some more!" When I saw that, I was wondering what could they possibly tell that would top the story they just finished. Well, they tell a story that will blow your mind. I wouldn't have written a review if this wasn't my favorite anime. Anyway so you start the 3rd plot at the end of season 2. Wierd, huh? Ok, so the end of season 2 is such a good twist that when I talk to my friends about this show, I always like to talk about what happens at the end of season 2. This show is well written, drawn, and everything else! Good characters and voice acting to go with them. "Believe in yourself. Not the Kamina that you have faith or the Simon that you have faith in, but believe in the kamina that believes in you." "Raw, raw, Fight the power!"
