Pretty user friendly, but you do have to stay worth hr block from year to year to make updates easier.

Have used H&R Block for a number of years. Able to work through a fairly complicated return with self employment, pensions, social security, dividends and interest income. Facilitates my filing. Was able to get at an extremely low price so a great bargain too.

Review for H&R block Premium: I've been using Turbo tax home and business for 8 years and was very hesitant about trying H&R, I'm glad I did though. I have a basic W2 but my wife is self employed hairstylist that rents a booth. Premium covered everything I needed. I read other reviews on Amazon saying the download process was difficult and so they gave it low stars. I don't think that's fair because it's not H&R fault that Amazon makes it difficult, I DID NOT have issues downloading with Bestbuy. I also read reviews saying they couldn't get there returns to e-file. I DID NOT have issues here either. Turbo tax vs H&R- I'd say if you have never done your taxes yourself than use turbo tax, they walk you through EVERYTHING! If you been doing your taxes for awhile and know of all the forms you will need 1099s, 1098s, etc then I'd say for sure go with H&R. It's not that h&r doesn't go over it but they don't take you down every situation like turbo. More like an overview of each topic and if you say yes then they go down it. H&R is cheapr, easy to use, comes with audit protection, "turbo is an additional charge". I spend a week before I do my taxes making sure I have all my paperwork together, I make spreadsheets with my wife's salon numbers and so when I sit down to do my taxes it's very easy. Both softwares are great but going forward I'll be using H&R, it's much faster because they don't walk down every path only skims over it.

A little misleading in that it says "State" on the package, but charges you another $19.95 to electronically file your state return. I typically don't have to file a state return, but needed to this year to claw back money from a property sale in a state that automatically deducts 2.5% from out of state owners when they sell real estate property. Not a deal breaker, but would have been nice to get notice that filing state, or filing an extension was extra $$. Does exactly what you expect your tax software to do, asks you a series of questions, and formulates your return based on the responses provided.

I've use H&R Block Premium for years & I love the ease of the tax preparation. However, the Best Buy download doesn't work for Windows 11. The H&R website isn't any better. Call H&R Block. They'll give you a working download. Once on the tax program, it runs just as smooth as always.

I have used it for many years and am happy with it. Some items can be better, but it is the same with all tax softwares. Filing taxes is complicated and this makes it a bit easy if you do not have too much of complexity in your taxes.

My go-to tax software. Easy to install and easy to import previous years returns.

H&R Block doesn't have the advertising behind it like Turbo Tax but I think it's a better value. I've used it for about 8 years and the transfer of information each year is seamless. It's also relatively easy to get a good price, you just have to keep an eye on it. Best Buy had a sale for about 50 percent off.

Really good product that satisfies my needs based on my current requirements

Very convenient and much cheaper than the online version especially when it’s on sale. However I did find the instructions and guided steps more difficult and harder to understand than the online version. One part I kept getting an error and it wasn’t explaining to me well enough what I had been missing.

I have been using H& R Block tax software for years and it’s been great.

I have used this tax prep software for years. No problem with downloading or importing last year's information. Easy to follow instructions, easy to go back and forth between sections to add or change information. Never had a problem.

Easy to understand, user friendly Tax software for simple income earner. However, someone requiring to fill multiple schedules and forms, it becomes slow process. Users are expected to read thoroughly before making entries. Does not easily show all the forms necessary for complex returns.

Disappointed that there is no CD for program. Also, a little more difficult to import previous year return. Need to stick with it because that is what I have been using. They should have all updates complete by 2/15/23

This is a great product Delivery to my email was quick and the installation was very smooth. I've always used HR Block for my taxes and it always meets my needs.
