HR Block software is the best and affordable product in the marketplace to perform this service. This software can easily save you $300 over paying a semi-trained professional as a single tax filer, and more if you are married, have kids or are able to claim several other tax deductions dependent on your own personal status. I've used this product for the last 5 years and it has paid for itself by 60 fold personally, with a few hours of itemizing prep work (reviewing/tabulating receipts), followed by an hour of reviewing the data entries with easy step by step self guidance. This is an easy and rewarding product to use.

Very Good Program, Importing information from last years return was excellent and the overall program was easy to understand. Easy e-file for both Federal and State.

Look at what is offered for the price by the different products. This has the stuff I need without having to pay extra for full business software like TurboTax.

This is a great Tax software and very easy to use. Easy to import data from other brokerages. Very highly recommend it.

As far as tax rebate software is concerned, this software does what it advertises. It maximizes my refund. However that is where it stops. 1. They advertise that I could call to ask questions, however, the help given was not very useful. After being on hold for 30 minutes they repeated what the tool tip in the application told me, and said if I wanted additional help I could go into a store and pay to have them prepare my return. 2. Going forward and backward in the application is not very easy. If you ever go backward in the application steps, you have to page though every page one at a time to return back to where you were previously. 3. Their rebate system is a joke. They made a mistake on my rebate and rejecting it for not buying the software at a store that is included in the rebate. (I bought it from a Best Buy and they were included) There is no way to appeal the decision of the rebate rejection. The phone number provided only gives you pre recorded or automated information. The corporate customer service was just about as useless as they promised someone would reach out to me. I attempted to follow up on that and I had no success. So if you are reading this, I would not suggest the rebate sway your purchase decision.

I'm a long time user of H&R Block tax software. It has always proven to be easy to use. The narrative questions lead you through both Federal and State returns. If you do have questions beyond the scope of the software, handy and knowledgeable folks are standing by on chat links to help walk you through any difficulties. I highly recommend this software to anyone who likes to do their own taxes. It's quick (for taxes), easy, and provides reliable returns every time.

I have used this software for quite a long time now. Works great for my needs. Easy import of last year's file and then it is just updating information and things like that. I use the macOS version. Just have internet to upload the software if you have no drive to install. Always check for updates as well. Never have had any issues. This year's software guides you through a little slower because it explains in more detail about things but I found it helpful because I felt it was in terms that are easily understood.

This H&R tax software is easy to use and less expensive than the other software. Highly recommended !!!

Great product, easy to install and use. Quite a bit cheaper than comparable TurboTax product.

I've used it for years, and I went for it again, because it cost less than TurboTax Premium. While it feels clunky, it collects everything I need it to. Have to scroll down to find the NEXT button, wording of questions and choices can be a bit confusing, and the help is less than perfect-- I have to go online to IRS.gov for solid advice. Then again, I like spending the extra time to learn, and it is my Super Bowl activity!

I like the different purchase levels from beginning to professional. I have used two different ones and its nice to only pay for what you need. The audit checking at the end is helpful. Software is straight forward and the auto calculations and recommendation functions take the guess work out if you are unsure about a particular deduction. I no longer use an accountant and have been happy with the results.

Have been using this software every year for the last seven years. The first year was the toughest to use but the second year and after were easy because it imports your previous tax return and most of the fields and forms get populate and you just need to update any changes from the previous year. Have no complaints and will use again next year.
