I purchased this for my son to record his classes. Tape free and fabulous. Easy to use and nice and compact so it can remain out of sight.

Great sounding recorder can use indoors or outdoors picks up everything you say. Great for recording music and the computer software option is a plus

I bought this as it was said to be a great recorder for outdoor concerts. Not so. The body is very cheaply designed. It is difficult to say the least to open the micro sd door in order to get to the micro sd. The unit kept turning off while in use. Still don't know why that was happening. The recordings were horrible. Tried again for indoor recording...same result. If you want to record notes in a meeting....maybe, but this thing will have a lot of trouble doing what it was designed to do. I returned within a week.

I now own three of these and use them for wedding videos. Good, durable, and easy on the budget.

I originally bought a interface but could for the life of me figure out how to get it to work. I bought this as an alternative for recording music which I know isn't the main purpose for this but I need something to record with. The additional parts required for music I had to buy on my own and it cost around $25 so I would recommend going with a interface instead if you going to record music but if not it should be perfect for you.

Works well and is extremely afforable for the price I dont think it can be beat.

First let me say I like most of the design. My issue and reason it did not get 5 stars is thin plastic body, not insulated. This means you holding it causes recordable noise. Simply touching it causes what you want recorded to be drowned out. There is an accessory kit (Sold separately of course) and clearly they made the wand for this reason.

Great portable device. Can be used as pocket device connected to lav mic.

I find this item a great value, and it doesn't disappoint when I listen to my recordings.

Zoom H! works great as a secondary recording device for production sound capture.

I purchased this from the best but not too far from my house and I paid about $100 for it. And I can honestly say it was worth every penny. I would suggest purchasing the zoom h1 accessory kit which provides a protective kit and a wind filter which helps with recording audio. But if your really cheap, a pair of panty hose wrapped 3 times over should do the trick as a wind filter.
