A lot of hype behind this game, but it's actually pretty good. I haven't beat it, because you have to play it from beginning to end. No saving in the middle of the dungeon. This is what "rogue like" is apparently. I don't know, just reminds me of old NES games where you can't save, and it's hard.

Super addictive and fun gameplay. Excellent story and writing. Character designs are comic book worthy.

I was skeptical of this game when I first heard about it, I’m not much of a fan of dungeon crawlers. However this game looks and plays amazingly and has a very interesting story. The physical copy of this game does cost more than the digital version but you do get a nice reversible cover art as well as a little art book. Buying physical also supports the companies who makes these physical copies to help bring more games to a physical copy.

Hades is by far one of the best games I have played this year. The progression is balanced perfectly that you don't get overly frustrated, but feel accomplished when you get further. The characters and story are engaging. The different combinations of weapons and buffs make every trip through the underworld different and satisfying. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys rogue lite type games or top down RPGs like Diablo.

AMAZING so far. I'm so glad I held out for a physical release. The compendium that comes with it is a nice touch where other publishers would just leave an empty space in the case. You are encouraged to die and rewarded for your efforts so it doesn't get old. Even though it is a roguelike game your progress isn't completely reset each time which makes it much more approachable in my opinion. Highly recommend.

Much more entertaining and fun then I first thought. I thought it would be more a diablo like game but turns out it was much more and a lot more enjoyable then how I found the diablo games to be.Also a nice touch to have a more mythological approach on who your character is and why he's doing this.Overall the games a real bargain for the price it's currently going for right now.

This game is super beautiful all around. Great music, Game mechanics, story line, and the Art! A fantastic telling of greek lore, Super Giant Games always had a high standard in the quality of their product... Did I say I'm a little obsessed because this is my third copy of the game... Two version on pc (steam and epic), now for the switch..... Is my ps4 next? Ha ha ha!

Amazing game! Was really surprised how much I enjoyed this game seeing as I don't play rogue-like or rogue-lite games. The gameplay is compelling and so are the characters Was happy to have waited for a physical copy too to get hte mini art book

At first I thought this game was overrated and overhyped. The graphics got a lot of praise too and I didn’t think they were that special. It’s a long repetitive grind by design. Over and over and over again. HOWEVER, the combat does make it fun. And there’s variety with every attempt. So for being super fun during grinding. 5 stars.

I am a huge fan of Supergiant Games. Each previous title, in my view, has been a home run. Hades continues that streak, as it is a really fun roguelite game. The story is fun, the graphics are beautiful, the music is great and the gameplay is tight. Give this game a try - you will enjoy it. Also. look into Transistor as it became an unexpected favorite of mine,

Finally was able to catch the restock. Very fun RPG I recommend.

Difficult at first but never unfair or soul crushing. The game rewards you for experimenting and you’ll get better with experience. Gameplay is fast without feeling frantic and confusing. Perfect if you only have 20-30 minutes to play but also great for extended play sessions. Really addicting. A physical copy of this game is a must have.
