The movie itself wasnt great, dont waste your money unless you get it dirt cheap!!!

This version of Halloween: The Curse Of Michael Meyers is the film that the theatrical version needed to be. There are much more throwback to traditional Halloween traditions and folklore for one. Another, this film delves much deeper into Michael's druid roots (including a new ending). Also, Jamie is not instantly killed in this version but lives halfway through the film. The prologue is completely different and is narrated by Donald Pleasance which immediately sets a more gothic and subtle tone to the film. There is much greater level of tension between all characters and in the prelude to key events. Though this version is unrated, the violence is noticeably toned down but all the more effective. This version pushes this installment higher on the list of movies in the Halloween franchise. This is the Halloween that needed to be remade (Sorry, Rob Zombie) and thankfully the effort paid off in the final product. Halloween 6: The Curse Of Michael Meyers captures the true spirit of Halloween almost as well as the original....a definite must-see come October 31st!

I decided to get this due to the new 2018 film's blu ray release. It was the only Halloween film I didn't have(I did already have the theatrical cut).For years this was only available as a bootleg.I was happy to see it get a official release a few years ago.After watching it,I would say this is the better version of The Curse of Michael Myers.It would of been nice to have a special feature on the history of this version of the film and why the changes were made.But still,just happy to have this as a official release.

This is serious. We need a complete Halloween Collectors set on Digital. Not just part 6. . . Lets go Best Buy! Thanks I'm an Elite Member & All reviews always help me. Hope this gets to the right eyes & ears.
