First hour and especially the beginning is really slow. Expected more action since this is Halo. Only last half hour had any good action.

I have never played Halo. Never read the books. My only contact with Halo was from the TV commercials. Watched the movie, and loved it. The acting from the unknowns was really good. The CGI was first rate. Would I watch it again? YES..... I bought the Blu-Ray

I left the halo world when the online community became focus on sniping and not really playing.. so I forgot about halo.. then I watched the movie and now im hooked !! I need to go back into HALO... the movie alone for someone who never new or knows halo is great my gal loved it! she really enjoyed but she wants to see a continuation.. unfourtanly i think is a 1 time shot... but a really well done and well versed movie!

Attention director who decides to do the real Halo movie...FOLLOW THIS PATH AND YOU WILL BECOME A LEGEND.! This movie was amazing, it created goosebumps and chills throughout the entire thing. I found myself cheering lasky on at different points. I literally jumped off my couch when I saw chief and screamed like a girl (I am a 25 year old Attorney, so thats not my normal persona....just saying) Even my wife said "now that was amazing"...nuff said. Oh wait.....I WANT MORE!

I watched all 5, and to be honest it started out a little slow. The first 2 episodes were good but slightly boring. But by the time I got to the 3rd episode, I was blown away! The special effects in this series are amazing, the story is great, and the casting was great! thumbs up all the way! Absolutely worth buying!

Wish I would have watched this online. I didn't really know what it was, but it was good. Blu-Ray quality is great.

Omg, really awsome movie no doubt didnt think it was gona be this well done for a low budget movie and im a hardcore halo fan. Really great story really and visual effect will keep you at the edge of your seat for sure! must buy blu-ray

I loved it and was a great starter movie for making a halo a real life film. it was a little slow in the beginning but i liked the story line and was so great to see master chief as a real life person.

Does great job of building up insight into character of young protoganists. Heroic debut of the "Master Chief." Exemplifies importance of standing-up to great evil!

I decided to watch Halo 4 : Forward Unto Dawn as a way to bond with my husband for his birthday and understand his inner world more. The pros to this movie; Halo 4 Forward Unto Dawn introduces one of the key characters of the film (Masterchief) that explains the film’s backstory. The film also plays with the idea of what can happen in the future if all military branches joined forces. The cons; The plot at least gave a backstory as to why the recruits at the training academy cared greatly about becoming the top in their jobs. However, the plot did not demonstrate enough on how they were truly going to be ready for what happened. For instance, the responsibility to train the United Bations Space Command candidates (USNC) seemed to fall too much on one person. I have been fortunate to be exposed to multiple work environments where I noticed that there were multiple managers that delegated the objectives of the work assignments. However, in the film the recruits are being trained to basically help save the world and yet the one person tasked to train them seems to not receive much leadership help to ensure a successful outcome (adding more leaders for the training would have strengthened the plot). The film jumps straight to the recruits being exposed to be expected to excel at the academy with not enough plot sequences to show them undergoing training. However, for me at least, watching the film was not a complete waste of time because it enabled me to have some bonding time with my husband on his birthday and understand one of the games that he enjoys. However, I would recommend Halo 4 Forward Unto Dawn more for those who enjoy the Halo game series (such as my husband).
